Who can better promote our career: freelancing or full time job?

In general, it depends on your way of thinking. If you want to live in a comfort zone and have a guarantee of a monthly payment check, go for a full time job.

It protects you from the great challenge of a changing world. Gives you a kit during retirement, no matter how small. Freelancing does not do that.

If you are looking for a career, choose a full time job.

Freelancing is more than just a lifestyle.

If you want to grow simply, choose a full-time job.

Life as a freelancer is even more uncertain.

Once heard this quote from Ravi Kant, Naval, in an interview: "There is only one thing more addictive than drugs: monthly salary"

Having a salary keeps the person working for this periodic reward, which seems satisfactory and pays the bills.

Freelancing is the first step towards entrepreneurship. Once in this place, there is no limit to how much a monthly salary can be earned.

But, freelancing is demanding. The market expects you to be an expert in your domain.

  I suggest, try everything.

  Start with a job.

Simultaneously engage in freelancing and test the market.

If you think you have a growth mindset, take a leap of faith and go full time freelancing‌.

If you are happy with your job and expect good growth, stick to your job.

You can start freelancing at any age. Spend your time, but not as long as your dreams leave you.

There may be times when there are not enough customers. Some customers may keep your payments longer. There was slight uncertainty everywhere.

If you can make it bigger, that’s a bonus. In the dynamic world, customer preference varies. You will lose out if you do not update or upgrade. No retirement kit. But at the same time, you can work even after retirement.

On the other hand, working in startups increases the chances of you learning a lot as it is in the early stages, so you have opportunities to learn things at good speed in such companies.
