Who and how won the match played between England vs New Zeeland?

If the mantra of this England Test team, coached by Brendon McCullum and captain Ben Stokes, is about “moving the game forward”, the first day of the first summer Test would never have been better. But after a good start with the ball, England are back to normal as New Zealand have shown a common failure with batting. Seventeen wickets came down in an area that seemed to be true of the Lord, and it came close and it was clear which side was up.

England traverse New Zealand by 16 runs with three wickets to go

The summer of English cricket is back with a bang! 17 wickets in 1 day and the bowlers had the ball. We failed by 12 overs, but the action we got was full of fun. The players walk out of the stadium and the Kiwi players all smile. They put things back very well in the last session.

It was already a day of forgetfulness by the tourist team when the England players started well. But when they took a few wickets, we saw them getting their rhythm on the balls.

They continued to lower England from 92 to 2 to 100 out of 7. A common breakdown of the home team these days as they release profits. All the Kiwi throwers have delivered with great care and worked hard at their accuracy.

England hold the reins in the first Test against New Zealand. Crawley and Alex Lees withdrew Trent and Tim's early attack in their first innings, scoring a 50-run stand. However, New Zealand eventually bounced back from the game with 4 wickets in a row.

Ben Stokes and Brendon have started a new era of English cricket testing in a controlled manner. Veterans James Anderson and Potts who started the match won by four wickets each to give New Zealand 132 runs. Collin De Grandhomme became the leading scorer with 42 runs off just 50 balls.

Choosing to beat Lord’s, New Zealand were beaten by England’s swing. In the first 10 overs, World Test world champions New Zealand lost by 4 wickets in just 12 runs. Fame goes to James Anderson’s first burning spell as he brought back Tom Will Young and Tom Latham in the first five overs.

Soon, Devon Conway and Kane Williamson were fired by Stuart Broad and Potts. Since then, New Zealand has not been able to recover. Had it not been for Tim and Colin de Grandhomme's stand for 41 runs in the 8th wicket, New Zealand would have looked at an embarrassing amount. However, the Grandhomme attack with 50 balls for 42 runs was not enough as New Zealand were bowled out for 132 runs.

England's concern could be the loss of Jack Leach. The spinner was removed from the 1st Test after showing signs of collision.

Earlier, captain Kane Williamson won the toss and chose to bat first in the first Test at Lord’s. The Kiwi will face off against England's struggling attack. In England, Broad & Anderson are back.

As mentioned, it was the day they threw them into the Lord's Supper. Initially, James Anderson and Stuart Broad gave England a completely accurate start and picked wickets as well as pushing the Kiwis in the back foot. Beginner Matthew Potts has joined the team as the first ever thrower, and has left an impressive contribution. Potts and Jimmy combined for eight wickets and limited New Zealand to less than the first innings.

This was the story about playing a match today between England vs New Zeeland.
