Police reacting to a call about the fire at a Columbus Avenue complex in Rockland County's Spring Valley around 1:30 p.m. Thursday observed weighty smoke surging from the highest level condo, authorities said. They advanced inside.
An official needed to slither in light of the fact that the smoke was so protection - - and that cop tracked down the three children - - ages 1, 2 and 5 - - under a cover in a back room, police said.
Those children were done scared, however not genuinely hurt. It turns out their mom had been harmed when the flares emitted and couldn't help them, which is the reason police needed to go in. Firemen doused the blazes a brief time frame later.
