Mahindra’s electric sedan E verito which was launched in 2016 has all the right to be called one of the pioneers among the electric vehicles. Keeping aside the success stories, Mahindra E Verito was absolutely a motivation for many giants to think for a greener option.
‘Enjoy the benefits of electric and connected’: the company claims over its 21.2kWh electric sedan baby. As they mention, connectivity is another major feature highlighted on E Verito. The electric car promises us with a greener technology that emits not even a single drop of carbon. If you don’t believe me, have a look at its back; you won’t find a tailpipe (known by the nick-name silencer) there!
1.GREENER
The greener part of the car is obvious. But as usual, the efficiency of the vehicle is questioned. For a common man, this is inevitable for him because he often compares an EV to his toy car. But the manufacturer's claim this car to have an ‘intelligent energy management system’ that charges 80% of the battery in 80 minutes and informs you whenever it needs a recharge. Moreover, the system saves your money, costing below Rs. 1 on electricity for travelling a distance of 1 km.
2 UNIQUE
As a unique touch to the car, Mahindra have introduced a first of its kind feature in E Verito: the regenerating brake. As per this, the battery gets charged every time the break is applied, which is obviously a power saving option.
Another factor that forbids someone from taking home an EV is the feasibility of doing so; they fear they should own a power station to recharge their car. But Mahindra proudly reminds us that such thoughts are just myths. It is simple to charge your E Verito. You just have it plus it into a 16 amp plug for about 8 hours and like your smartphone, it will alert you that it’s fully charged.
3.CONNECTED
Telematics of the car is another mesmerising feature. It is a feature that continuously analyses the vehicle's social responsibility towards its owner, letting him know how far the car is working without harming anyone. It keeps the track of 190 vital vehicular parameters through which the vehicle’s performance is analysed as well as the condition of the vehicle is presented as statistics.
4 CHARGING POINT

The electric car with 72v battery and promising power efficiency, has a 3 years (36,000km) warranty for the battery and 2 years (40,000km) for the vehicle. But what users complain of this E-Sedan costing 10 lakhs is just one thing; it lacks proper promotion. Totally, electric cars have drawbacks and Mahindra E Verito has solutions for it.
