It’s been a fairly quiet Sunday today, although we did get a few updates on some previous big stories. There’s a lot of variety too, with the news taking us from Xbox 360-era Halo titles, all the way to an update on Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed. Oh, and we even have a story on that skincare line for gamers that seems very pseudoscience-y. Truly, we have something for everyone today.
Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed Is Skipping Last-Gen To Have A "Bigger, Better World"
Bad news for those of you sticking with the PS4 and Xbox One a little longer - you’ll miss out on the long-awaited Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed. We knew this much already, but in an interview, the devs shed some light on the decision. Assistant creative director Stefan Schmitz revealed that this was to avoid “weaker visuals”, and promises that the sequel will be “a big step forward” for the series. He said that on current-gen they can fit five times as many objects in a level, so it does very much sound like an improvement.
Xbox 360 Halo Players Rejoice - The Death Date Has Been Pushed Back To January
Staying on the topic of obsolescence, we go back to yet another generation with this latest update from 343 Industries. Originally, it was revealed that online support for Halo games on Xbox 360 would be cut this December. However, fans are now being given another month to relive their childhood, as the new termination date is January 13, 2022. The affected games are: Halo: Reach, Halo 4, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Spartan Assault , and Halo Wars.

Moving onto another ridiculously popular online game, we have a Resident Evil and Fortnite crossover. Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield are now playable on the Island, released alongside alternative outfits for the pair. Persona Series Has Sold Over 15 Million Games Worldwide
The Persona series hit a huge milestone this year, surpassing 15 million sales worldwide. That figure is 25 years in the making, with the first game, Revelations: Persona, launching back in 1996. Unsurprisingly, the best sales were seen with Persona 5 Royal, which shifted 1.8 million copies alone. The most recent Persona 5 Strikers also had an impressive showing, already reaching 1.3 million copies sold, just a little shy of two years since its release.
Valkyrae Thought Gamer Skincare Range RFLCT Would Be "Revolutionary"
Finally, we have an update from yesterday’s bonkers story about that gamer skincare product range. After getting called out by both fans and fellow content creators, YouTube streamer Valkyrae has spoken at length about the whole RFLCT debacle - but was admittedly a little contradictory. While she said she believes in the product and its claims - even going as far as to say she thought it would be “revolutionary” - she did admit she doesn’t want to be involved with it anymore. However, as she admits herself, this likely isn’t possible as she is under a contract.
