Batman and Moon Knight are two very similar superheroes, which is why Doug Trench and Don Berlin, the creators of the Marvel vigilante, were inspired by Bat Man to bring Marc Spector to life. With the imminent arrival of both The Batman and Moon Knight, fans of DC Comics characters and avid Marvel fans alike have been wondering which of these two could win in a battle. From the writing we have reflected on it, and addressing different categories, we have found the answer.
Training
The first category we decided to address is “training”. Which of the two heroes has been more prepared in the art of combat? The truth is that in this aspect both Batman and Moon Knight are quite equal, because while the Bat Man traveled for years throughout the world to learn martial arts, Marc Spector is a boxer by profession, he was part of the Corps of United States Marines and also joined the ranks of the CIA as an agent.
Superpowers
This category begins to change the landscape for Batman and Moon Knight, because the truth is that Bruce Wayne's alter ego does not have any superhuman capacity: he is a simple mortal. For his part, Marc Spector has some supernatural abilities conferred by the Egyptian God Honshu, which allow him to receive premonitory dreams, as well as acquire greater physical strength according to the change in lunar phases. In this sense, it is evident that the hero of Marvel is superior to that of DC Comics.
Intelligence
But is physical strength everything? We think not, since a very decisive factor in a fight is the intelligence of its participants. Guided by this logic, we can see that Marc Spector's reasoning is quite average to a certain extent, and we say "to a certain extent" because more than one personality survives in the body of this individual, which causes serious changes in Moon Knight's intellectual abilities.
On the other hand, Batman is a being with a gigantic intelligence, which has not only served him to create all kinds of gadgets, but also to deceive the Gods themselves, as happened in the Final Crisis series, in which he made use of his thought skills, The Dark Knight was able to single-handedly defeat a cosmic-level threat.
Personality
So far, both superheroes are tied, so the "personality" section will decide which of the two vigilantes is the best. But what do we mean by “personality”? To the individual characteristics in the mindset of Bruce Wayne and Marc Spector that would allow them to withstand the pressure of a hard fight.
Bruce Wayne, in this sense, is a hero who has been able to withstand almost everything, and thanks to his Stoic personality and his emotional toughness, the vigilante has been able to overcome and face the greatest adversities, the occasion being quite rare in which Batman's mind drifts into madness due to a crisis.
On the other hand, Marc Spector is a superhero who has been marked by madness, which has come to represent serious problems for the vigilante, especially when his personalities get in the way of an anarchic crowd of voices.
The truth is that the difference between the strength levels of both superheroes is quite small, so it would not surprise us to see Marc Spector turn around Bat Man with a bit of luck; however, and as a conclusion: Batman is a superior vigilante to Moon Knight, so Bat-Man is more likely to be victorious in a fight.
