The Role of Barkhan Aman Committee in Barkhan

Barkhan District is the farthest as well as the most backward District of Baluchistan. As the news of tribal wars spread every other day, an idea came to the mind of a poor laborer that how the bad situation of the motherland could be rectified. This idea led to the formation of Caravan about 3 and half years ago with a few like-minded people. I Wazeer Ahmad Hassni with my members have founded a committee and headed by Master Ahmad Khan which has now been present in the form of Barkhan Aman Committee.
We people started a peace campaign in the district by sensitizing people at large. To strengthen their campaign, one day, we arranged a Jirga, consisting of all respected people of the community and passed a peace agenda unanimously. At the outset, it was decided to stop the armed conflict between rivals by visiting the war zones and, sway the peace’ flag. It is a very bold step to bring reconciliation between the arch enemies. The word of this huge initiative for peace was spread all around. People appreciated this gigantic task and each took a sigh of relief. Everyone saw this small act turning into a strong tree: in fact it had taken its roots across the district. In a very short time, everyone becomes the part of Caravan because of their deep desire to enjoy the fruit of peace and eliminate enmity. Chairman of BAC, Master Sahib and we work day and night to strengthen peace for the pleasure of the Almighty Allah.
While writing about the success story of Caravan, it is indeed a matter of great relief for everyone that this great peace drive did not stop at one point, rather it went on. Soon after the success of one of the prime objectives of peace drive, I established a blood bank for the children, suffering from Thalassemia. I organized an awareness seminar about a lethal disease of thalassemia in my district. Later, this service was extended to patients who needed blood in emergency situations. The team of Caravan use to donate ten to twenty pints of blood daily. As the magnitude of service increased, a need of ambulance emerged. For this purpose, we collected donations from members and bought an ambulance. This ambulance is serving a large population. The rising expenses are borne by the generous donations of members. It proves as one of the most efficient ambulance services on road accidents and tribal conflicts.
During the most serious Covid-19 lockdowns, I with my brave people collected donations and bought Ration for poor laborers and needy people residing in around 800-1000 houses. BAC also requests private schools to get, poor children enroll at their schools and provides free books. I also guide students how to get admissions in tertiary level educational institutions and receive educational scholarships. Recently, we have also raised their voice against bogus domiciles issued to non-residents of Barkhan which is the violation of rules and injustice to the youth of Barkhan.
In result of our untiring struggle for peace, tribal wars are reduced to around 60% to 70%. Awareness for education and basic Rights among youth have been raised. I’ve formed my doctors’ team, arranged medicines, various kind of laboratory tests and give treatment approx. 1000-1200 patients in each free medical camps. Due to opposition of many factors such as political forces, I’ve been expended my ideology by founding many zones of Barkhan Aman Committee in various unions, cities and districts. Recently during flood disaster, we arranged rations for poor people and constructs 400-800 houses for needy people in rehabilitation with the help of welfare organizations by advocacy of our members Master Ahmad Khan and Ahsan Ayaz. In short, I’m trying my best to give relief to poor people and to every community with my team in respect of health, education and various social supports. Our people are deprived of basic rights such as education, health and financial supports to fulfill their needs, I’m still continuously my struggle to support people in short resources. It is a matter of my great pride that now BAC has become the synonym of peace, prosperity and development of society.
