ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 will be held in India in October and November of 2023. To date, no competition has been held in India. It was the site of three previous editions – in 1987, 1996, and 2011. The tournament was originally scheduled to take place from 9 February to 26 March 2023, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates were shifted to October and November 2023. The ICC Committee has established a detailed COVID-19 contingency plan for all ICC qualifying events in discussion with the ICC Medical Committee. The safety and well-being of all those who participate in its events are of paramount importance to the ICC. Ongoing risk analysis methods were developed to monitor and minimize the risk of the COVID-19 pandemic on all hosts and participants, according to plans that have been developed.
Qualifier of ICC World Cup:
Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier dates and 20 rescheduled series have been issued by the International Cricket Council (ICC). ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe between 18 June and 9 July 2023. All COVID-19 affected series that was postponed in 2020 has been postponed in a new style schedule trying to extend to 2023.
Canada will host Denmark, Malaysia, Qatar, Singapore, and Vanuatu in the second of three Challenge League A events from August 15 to August 28, 2021. Canada and Singapore are tied at eight points apiece in terms of net run rate in the overall rankings.
Schedule of ICC World cup 2023:
15 matches will be played from 1-14 September 2021 in Challenge League B, conducted by Jersey and Bermuda, with Hong Kong, Italy, Kenya, and Uganda taking part. Ten-point leader Uganda is followed by Hong Kong's seven points in the standings. Sixty List-A matches are scheduled in the final Challenge League B and A events in February and September of 2022, respectively.
The top three teams in League 2 will be confirmed for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 after the 21 tri-series have been completed. The bottom four teams will be relegated to the Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-Off in 2023, along with Challenge League A and B winners. Both the Play-Off and Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 have been rescheduled for 2023.
Host OF ICC Cricket World Cup 2023:
This year's ICC Cricket World Cup edition will take place in India from February 9 to March 26, 2023. Cricket World Cup men's 13th edition to be hosted by India for the first time. Previous editions were co-hosted by India and its Asian neighbors (1987, 1996, and 2011).
From 9 February to 26 March 2023, India will host the 13th edition of the cricket world cup. England has hosted the most in terms of World Cups, with five (1975, 1979, 1983, 1999, and 2019). Aside from hosting the tournament alone and in 1975 and 1979, only Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, and Wales founder the tournament in 1983, 1999, and 2019. In India, all matches will be played exclusively.
The location of the cricket world cup in 2027 has yet to be determined. As of this writing, the bidding has not begun. Apparently, the Emirates Cricket Board in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a chance to bid on the event. Qatar and the United Arab Emirates may team up to host the event.
