Among Us is a popular multiplayer game that has a theme of Murder-Mystery party and is played in a group of 4-10 players. This game was released in 2018 by Indie studio Innersloth. The game gathered enormous attention, and the popularity escalated quickly. By the end of summer 2020, the game had 1.5 million simultaneous players.
Among us has also been listed as the “most-watched” game with more than 3,00,000 viewers on gaming streams until now. These players have to find the “imposters among us” whose main objective is to kill everyone while the other players want to escape without being harmed.

How To Play Among Us game?
The game requires 4-10 players and places them in astronaut gear of spaceship crew. Among these crewmates, one or sometimes three crew members are “imposters” who aim to kill the crewmates, whereas the other crew members want to escape unharmed. In order to win the game, the crewmates have to avoid being killed and complete their given tasks, which have been assigned to them in the three maps of the game. The players can detect and vote off the imposters in the crew meetings.
For the imposters to win the game, they have to act like the crew and avoid raising any kind of suspicion. Being a good crewmate requires you to be perceptive and communicative.

Follow these tips to win the game as a detective crew member:
Trick 1: Staying together in a group
If you are moving with your crewmates, the imposters will not be able to assassinate you. Your priority is to avoid getting killed. If there is more than one imposter, you will need to move around in a group of five to avoid getting killed. But you also need to remember that imposters can multi-kill if they start working together. You need to look out for events which planned to deliberately kill crewmates in order to break the group.
Trick 2: Keep an eye on the crew completing tasks
If you aim to win the game, you just cannot blindly trust your crewmates if you see them completing their tasks. If they are actually doing a task, the taskbar will fill up. These tasks require time to be completed. They just cannot complete a task in a second. For instance, if you see someone start the reactor within a second, wake up! It’s an imposter.
Trick 3: Keep the vents and fresh kills in mind
You should be well aware of the fact that the imposters can use the vents if you aim to win the game. The vents are connected.
If you just pass someone and after that, you find a dead body in an upright position. Do not blindly trust your crewmates. During the voting process, they will need a good excuse to prove themselves innocent.
Trick 4: Don’t ignore the cameras
A crewmate watching the cameras can see you stab or kill someone if you aren’t cautious enough. If you see a blinking red light, beware someone is watching you. Although cameras cannot be a serious problem, you can easily visit the security room to know who has been watching. Also, you can pretend to be a crewmate by watching the cameras. It can help you gain the trust of your fellow crewmates.

Trick 5: Crowd kill
Make a strategy and plan a crowd kill because sometimes it can be tough for you to isolate a crewmate for killing them. You can sabotage the lights, and when the crewmates are gathered in an area and doing their tasks in the dark, you can pretend to be fixing the lights and can easily stab them with a knife, and the kill will be reported instantly. No one will be able to figure out who was the imposter due the presence of many crewmates. To avoid suspicion, don’t overuse this strategy.
