Which An Ebay Seller S Checklist

Being a salesman is a huge responsibility, and at times you may feel like you are not doing all that you should. This simple checklist will help you stay informed about things. Did you find everything you could do about your stuff? Try typing their names in the search engine - you may find something you do not know. If someone sells the same thing as you, try to provide more information about it than they do. Do you monitor competition? Always keep an eye on how many other items are for sale or similar, and for what prices. There is usually a small point in launching a fixed price auction for $100 when someone sells an item for $90. Do you have pictures of things? It’s worth taking the time to photograph your stuff, especially if you have a digital camera. If you are serious about eBay but do not have a camera, you will probably want to invest one at a time. Do you email your merchants? It is appropriate to send a short email when the transaction takes place: a simple thing "Thank you for purchasing my item, please let me know when you have sent the payment". Follow this with "Thank you for your payment, send me your [item's name] today". You will be amazed at how many problems you can avoid by simply communicating in this way. Also, do you check your emails? Remember that potential buyers can send email "you" at any time, and not responding to these emails will automatically lead them to another location instead of buying from you. Do your product description pages have everything customers need to know? If you are planning to offer an international delivery, it is a good idea to make a list of the costs in the different regions and display them at each auction. If you have special terms and conditions (for example, if you are going to return money for anything as long as it is unlocked), you should make sure it is also displayed. Have you been packing your belongings in the right way? Your wrap should be professional to look your best: use the right size envelopes or parcels, wrap the item in foil to prevent damage, and print labels instead of handwritten addresses. Oh, and always use the first class post - don't call. Are you following? It is appropriate to send an email a few days after sending the item, saying.  “Is everything all right with your purchase? I hope you found it : It turned out just as you had hoped. ” This may sound like giving a customer a chance to complain, but you should be trying to help your customers, not take their money and spend it. Being a good eBay seller, more than anything else, is about providing a good and reliable customer service. That is the only absurd way to protect your dignity. Of course, you may be wondering now if it really is worth every effort to get a good reputation on eBay. Won't people buy from you anyway, and you couldn't just open a new account when it really got there? Our next email will guide you.
