However, the fans now believe that there is a higher chance that Tom Cruise will enter Marvel as an Iron Man variant.

Discussing the trailer of, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, one thing that had gotten the Doctor Strange fans' eyes was a saint flying through flotsam and jetsam as the person in question was shrouded in light. Fans accept that this is Iron Man, yet not Robert Downey Jr. Prior it was guessed that Tom Cruise will enter Marvel as a variation of Tony Stark also known as Iron Man. If Cruise is indeed essaying Tony Stark, even for a cameo, would be a great wink to the casting that did not happen. Perhaps, in a parallel universe, Cruise did become Iron Man, but the Mission: Impossible franchise is likely languishing and ended after 2 or 3 films
