Whenever you are planning an evening, make sure you have romantic music and a nice bottle of wine. Her favorite flower would be an extra nice touch. It would be better if this food is prepared by you, or you can order it from a restaurant.
The old standby of a movie is a really bad choice for a first date. Not conducive to creating a memorable evening.
If your place is a little dirty, be sure to take more time to clean it doesn't slip on your shoes or bag. Most well-populated areas have a range of museums covering many different subjects. Meeting someone who is devoted to something that you have in common with the woman is another great first date idea.
