Hermanus, South Africa
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is recognized as one of the top 12 places for whale watching; Hermanus is where you will most commonly see the Southern right whale. The best time for whale watching is between July and September. Here at the Cliff Path, you are guaranteed the best views. It is built along the beautiful shores of Walker Bay and is the official Whale Watching Capital of the World and a popular holiday destination. Hermanus is surrounded by majestic mountains, indigenous Fynbos, and spectacular natural beauty, while its residents are the heart and soul of the town, providing an unforgettable holiday experience. This coastal resort offers the best land-based whale watching in the world. The Southern Right Whales visit Walker Bay from July until December every year. Mirissa, Sri Lanka
Mirissa (Sinhala: මිරිස්ස, romanized: Mirissa; Tamil: மிரிஸ்ஸ, romanized: Miris'sa) is a small town on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in the Matara District of the Southern Province. It is approximately 150 kilometers (93 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 4 meters (13 ft) above sea level. Mirissa's beach and nightlife make it a popular tourist destination. It is also a fishing port and one of the island's main whale and dolphin watching locations.

Vancouver Island, Canada
Vancouver Island is an island in the northeastern Pacific Ocean and part of the Canadian province of British Columbia. The island is 456 km (283 mi) in length, 100 km (62 mi) in width at its widest point,[4] and 32,134 km2 (12,407 sq mi) in area. The island is the largest by area and the most populous along the west coasts of the Americas.
The southern part of Vancouver Island and some nearby Gulf Islands are the only parts of British Columbia or Western Canada to lie south of the 49th parallel. This area has one of the warmest climates in Canada, and since the mid-1990s has been mild enough in a few areas to grow Mediterranean crops such as olives and lemons.[5]
