Where Are We Heading
Introduction: As a young person whenever I go to my university or any other social platform, I see different groups of male and females intellecting with each other like sitting, walking, eating, working together and doing gossips. As a social human being, we have to work with females and females have to work with male in every organizations and institute. We go through different projects, assignments, tasks and achievements, In simple we have to do thousands of things together but many of us have forgotten about distance and limitations which Islam has taught us and which we have to be careful while interacting with each other our language, tone, dressing and behavior and the difference between male and female.
My Observations and Daily Life Examples: When it comes to myself, I noticed several things that shouldn’t had to be happened. For instance, dressing of some female is impropriate like wearing jeans, tight, having no shawls and uncovered heads even dressing of some causes their body to get visible. Some actions of males are also not good like in my class I have seen a boy snatching hairs of a female from behind as a fun who was sitting in front of her. What I see that if in place of that female will be her sister and he proclaims that the male snatching her hair is her fellow or friend then, what will be the reaction of that male. Will he allow her sister male friend to snatch his sister hairs. In other words now a male gives respect to only their blood relations.
While daily we listen different news that women have been harassed by men in different offices and work places. From where a men get such power that allow them to do so. These activities like having fun and frank behavior with females, slapping them with fun, snatching their hairs and pulling them. Such activities make a psychological factor in male mind and then if they don't get attention from a specific female they don’t hesitate and start harassing them and at peak of their harassment we witness different cases of murder, rape and kidnapping.
What Islam Is: Our Deen-e-Islam has told us clear path from which we are distracted. In upper case, if boy was well educated he will never do such activity and if he does so and female were concerned about her social distance he will never allow boy. She would teach boy from his words, hands and actions so that for the next time boy will response in respected and in careful manner towards hundreds of females.
Allah Subhan -o- Tallah Has made us in two different gender male and female both have their limits, responsibilities and duties. We are not superior than Islam or not much liberal that we can cross the limitations of Islam, if we do so we have to bear their consequences today or tomorrow, sooner or later because what we do will definitely have to come in front of us one day. Our deeds and actions become our fortune and destiny.
Two Different Gender: As an opposite gender Allah has made an attraction between us which we can’t deny at any level. Both have feelings for each other that can be positive or negative. Like when a girl wearing jeans, half sleeves or tight shirts passes from male (which is common in our Universities), It can be attractive for men and they also do gossips on her but they will never gave him respect, because that is there psychology that we can’t change at any level. While men may keep his eyes down when a girl having shawl, covered head or in good manner passes infront of them. It’s not a fight of dressing or gender race but that is the mindset and social behavior of male which is from the start of universe.
Islam has ordered men first that whenever you see a girl keep your eyes down and these are the little things that has created a gap between us and from our Islam. Also these differences make us unique and best Ummah of Holy Prophet SAW.
What We Have To Do: As it comes to my opinion, character of female is very beautiful and feelings are also so different whatever you’re a mother, sister or daughter. Allah has made female with purity of soul and with very sensitive emotions that a male can mold her character in any form. And if it comes to myself me to choose one gender for education and character building I will prefer female because she has to shape a generation and have to build a nation thorough her character.
Moreover, In our families formally girls are taught how to behave, react, talk and intellect with society but likewise girls we have to also educate our boys that how to behave with girls, giving them respect and how to treat a girl, what should be his behavior, tone and reaction.
