Xiaomi says that the Cyber dog comes with an array of high-precision sensors. There are a total of 11 sensors on the quadruped, including touch sensors, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, GPS modules, and more. These sensors help the Cyber dog to sense and its surroundings and act accordingly.

The Nvidia Xavier AI supercomputer is the brain of Xiaomi’s four-legged robot. Nvidia’s supercomputer comprises 384 Cores, 48 Tensor Cores, 2 deep learning acceleration engines, and a 6 Carmel ARM CPU, paired with 128 GB of SSD storage. The Xavier supercomputer brings up to 21 TOPS of AI performance capability, which is enough power to run modern neural networks and process data from multiple sensors in real-time.

With the help of the real-depth camera in front of it, the Cyber dog can dodge obstacles or follow you around. You can also use voice commands to interact with it, like how you do it with your pet dog.

The company has used in-house servo motors, which enable it to move at a speed of 3.2meter per second, and it can also manage a payload of up to 3 Kg.
