When Open Letter To Richard Dawkins And To The Uk S Channel 4 Television

I watched your program broadcast on January 16 on Channel 4. You expressed outrage that Christians and Jews should be allowed to teach their children their faith. Has it ever occurred to you that what you believe about the origin of life is the same ‘faith’ that must be accepted without a doubt. the millions of children and adults who are being taught in the educational system and the media?

Since none of us were present when life began, all we believe, so it is an act of faith. You read back in the so-called scientific conclusions, which are actually very questionable. I have never received a satisfactory explanation from evolutionists with basic questions about your theory.

1. Where did the ‘Big Bang’ story explode?

2. If the Big Bang is a description of the universe, how did an organized world come to be out of existence? Our awareness of an explosion (e.g. a bomb exploding) indicates that it causes things to move from chaos to chaos, not from disruption to order. How would you describe our amazing planet with all the complex boundaries needed to survive (the distance from the sun, the atmosphere, the water cycle, the soil, the plants that can provide food etc.) that happens automatically?

3. Darwin himself did not say a word about the origin of the original forms of life by the power of natural selection. Since the discovery of DNA we now know that there are no simple forms of life, but every cell contains a wealth of information. To believe that this could happen by chance would be tantamount to believing that the information in the Encyclopaedia Britannica could be placed, there similarly. In your belief it is not just that this incredibly complex matter arose by chance and had to be able to reproduce itself otherwise the arrival of life would not be more than a temporary disappearance from the horizon of evolution. All reproductive systems are very complex but are essential for the survival of species.

4. Darwin acknowledged that ‘the assumption that the eye could be formed by natural selection (evolution) seems absurd at the highest level possible.’ an eye with a lens. ’This does not explain how the creature we need to see to survive was able to survive all these millions of years without eyes. The most complex organs such as the eye, heart, mind etc. are all essential for survival. Even more important are the reproductive systems of creatures. All breeding creatures need a good male and female offspring to produce the next generation. How could such a system develop over millions of years of experimentation and error. As it should be considered evolution? If the system does not work in the first generation. The type dies. The Genesis account of God's creation of all living things is more logical than the conclusion of evolution.

5. Darwin acknowledged the lack of variation in the fossil record and in the material world. There is no problem in believing in a wide variety of animals (birds with short beaks and long beaks etc. But there is no evidence at all for any diversity of occurrences or fossils. There are also major issues with this view. For example, how did the first bird acquire the ability to fly? If wings had formed over millions of years, they would have been a barrier and not a profit. What would allow a cat to eat a bird before the bird spreads its wings? If so, species of birds are dying before they can learn to fly!

No doubt, you do have answers to these questions, but they are not always satisfying. He urges people to believe that something could come about by chance, that an explosion could create an orderly universe, that an astonishing number of living organisms could emerge from nonliving matter and that they could reproduce and develop higher life forms. I can't believe this! But you are allowed to teach this to our children and to ridicule those who do not believe your teaching on TV without giving them a fair chance to give a reasonable defense of your faith. The Christians you chose to interview were at the wrong end of the US gospel scene as a man who agreed to kill those who worked in abortion clinics or liberals like the Bishop of Oxford who agreed with you more than what the Bible teaches.

In the matter of the Bible, your choice of very special quotes to impress the God of the Bible as a sadly overlooked context and the teaching of the whole book. The significance of the story of Abraham and Isaac is that Abraham did not offer Isaac. Child sacrifice was common in the pagan religions of the day around Israel, and the Bible strongly condemns it. In our time the sacrifice of children has returned and as we sacrifice the unborn children to our gods of luxury and lust. There is a deeper message of faith in Genesis 22 than this book. The incident in which a man sent his daughter to be executed by the mob in Judges 19 is no longer considered an example in the Bible! Since the Bible is a literal book, it speaks for itself and does not condemn wrongdoing. The period of the Judges is summed up in the last verse of the book, ‘Everyone does what is right in his own eyes’ - that is, everyone does his own thing rather than doing what is right in God's eyes - as it is today!

In the end, your view of the so-called scientific advancement and evolution has always had a negative effect on the human race. Nietzsche, a Darwin theologian, wrote in his diatribe against Christianity.
