When Emirates Recognized for Excellence in Digital Customer Experience

The Emirates marketing team has been recognized by Sitecore, one of the world's leading digital information platforms, "Best Use of Customer Data Platform (CDP)". The award was presented to Emirates in the latest version of GIT EX, Dubai's technology trade fair, for demonstrating its efficiency in delivering digital digital customer information (CX) 'using' the Box ever platform.

Emirates is selected from 110 major 'organizations' of service, based on high-quality CX and digital capabilities. Over the past four years, Emirates has invested in CDP solutions such as Box ever, acquired by Site core in March 2021, 'using it' in line with the affiliate marketing data platform to deliver complex customer needs. Their combined capabilities are a reflection of the close cooperation between the Group's internal marketing team and Box ever, who have ultimately focused on delivering a stubborn customer agenda.

"The Middle East is seeing the Emirate marketing team that has leveraged its digital customer experience using a core CDP solution to meet the complex needs of their customers," said the Vice President of Local, Middle East and North Africa, the backbone of the Site. "Emirates Airline is demonstrating how the Middle East is leading the digital age, and is transforming website visits into active customers to make their travel planning easier."

“Emirates is 'honored' to be honored with a digital customer experience award. The world of service marketing has developed at a tremendous pace over the past few years, and our desire to bring the best customer experience to the tourism industry is a key objective of Emirates and our wider tourism product team. We are delighted to be welcomed by Sitecore, a company with great digital marketing expertise, and a comprehensive organization of digital marketing professionals. We look forward to continuing to develop our ability to better serve our customers' needs and interests, ”said Outros, Senior Vice President of Business, Business Communications, Marketing & Product - Emirates Group.

Recognition represents Emirates' continued investment and innovation in delivering relevant and personal experiences throughout the digital customer journey. Sitecore's accolade also underscores Emirates' continued ambition to deliver the best customer experience in the aviation industry: digital, down and on the road.

Emirates carried 6.1 million passengers between 1 April and 30 September 2021, an increase of 319% from the same period last year. The volume of 1.1 million tonnes of goods increased by 39%, bringing business back to 90% of pre-epidemic levels (2019) by the volume handled. This demonstrates Emirates Sky cargo's outstanding ingenuity and ability to meet the needs of its customers, whether transporting vaccines and medicines, essential goods such as food and perishable goods, or professional horses and high-performance vehicles.

In the first half of the 2021-22 financial year, the Emirates' losses were AED 5.8 billion (US $ 1.6 billion), compared to last year's losses of AED 12.6 billion (US $ 3.4 billion). Emirates revenue, including other operating revenue, AED 21.7 billion (US $ 5.9 billion) increased by 86% compared to AED 11.7 billion (US $ 3.2 billion) recorded in the same period last year. Strong revenue recovery reflects the rapid return of passenger demand wherever air and travel restrictions were disclosed worldwide.
