Creative imagination is not just an active imagination. Being able to actively imagine things, see and hear things in the mind is an important skill. You don't have to be creative, do you? For example, dreaming is the process of dreaming. It may consist of a small fantasy world, but it is full of what most people think.
Creative imagination should include the ability not only to imagine things, but also to imagine things that are original. See things that others are not doing and come up with new ideas. How can you improve it?
Creative imagination 101
First, fulfill your basic dreams. It can be as simple as thinking about a picture or listening to music in your head. Play the little "movie" in your mind until you can watch it if needed. It's a simple process, but it takes a lot of practice for those of us who can't do it easily. Fortunately, it's not a pleasant task.
The second part is developing your creative imagination to be more creative in your thinking and imagination. Start by focusing on your creativity. Our unconscious mind gives us more than what we notice. Ignore the creative aspects of your life and you are telling your subconscious that they are not important. On the other hand, if you focus on being creative, your subconscious mind will start giving you more creative ideas.
Different environments can also stimulate your creativity. Want more creativity in your love life? Climb the mountain with your partner. you write? Try sitting on the roof to rest. Want new ideas for your business? Take a notebook to the park and sit by the duck pond. A change of environment can cause you to lose your mind.
You can play games that fulfill your creative imagination. One such game uses a technique called "matching mind". Alone or with other players, you combine concepts or random objects in new ways to see the best ideas. Thermometers and bulletin boards can generate ideas for numbers that check the weather and adjust messages accordingly ("Come in from the heat for a cool drink" or "Come in from the rain and enjoy our ladies' coffee.").
Don't underestimate creativity
Creative inspiration can strike at any time, of course, but it often strikes when the work is done rather than waiting. So if you want to indulge in creative invention, start mentally re-creating everything you see. Imagine better bikes, faster mail service, or better seats. Do this for three weeks and it will become a habit.
Of course, creative imagination is much more than solving specific problems or creating things. A truly creative mind always comes up with a question, not just a solution. If you want to be creative all the time, keep three things in mind:
1. Change your attitude. A child may think that there is no point in working just to not work (retirement). Thinking from that perspective can give you ideas on how to make money doing what you love. Seeing the world like a bear can give the artist's imagination new ideas. Seeing it from the customer's perspective is a surefire way to find creative improvements for the business. Look at everything from different perspectives.
2. Challenge your assumptions. What if restaurants are in short supply? Come pay for the car, eat at the buffet, and everything is automated as much as possible, so the owner-operator can run a large restaurant alone. Challenge all your assumptions to action. Do I have to pay rent? Do pools need water? Can exercise be a bad thing?
3. Let your mind run wild. Does a flying bed sound silly? Can cause bedbugs. When you go down in the morning, it floats from the road to the roof. Perfect for a small apartment. Don't stifle your creativity. Relax and let the ideas flow. You can always remove them later.
Use this technique regularly so that it becomes a regular part of your thinking. Since it takes a few weeks to develop a habit, remember to practice it every day. Mark some of your favorite methods on cards and take them with you. Search everyday and apply the method to anything. You will soon dream more creatively.
