The world's most popular messaging platform, WhatsApp, is constantly testing new features. As per WA Beta Info reports, on Tuesday, the Meta-owned messaging platform is testing a new feature that will allow users to recover deleted messages.

While deleting sensitive information, we've often clicked "Delete for me" instead of "Delete for everyone" and been left wondering what to do. The tested feature is intended for users who accidentally deleted a message by clicking "Delete for me" rather than "Delete for everyone." The feature is currently being tested with some beta testers; update WhatsApp from the Play store to the same to check if you can access it.

WA Beta Info even shared a screenshot showing a small popup below the app with "undo" button. According to WA Beta Info, the beta version with this feature in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.13.

WhatsApp was recently reported to be working on Avatars for profile pictures and phone number visibility when chatting with certain business accounts. Several new features related to group chat have also been tested.

WhatsApp will soon get three new features that will give them better control over their conversations and an extra layer of security. Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg announced the features in a Facebook post, "New privacy features coming to WhatsApp: exit group chats without notifying everyone, control who can see when you're online, and prevent screenshots on, view once messages." The features have been in process for some time and have been spotted in several beta updates.

The most recent upgrade to WhatsApp's privacy features raises the possibility that users may also be able to conceal their phone numbers. WhatsApp is always working to improve its privacy features. Internally, WhatsApp is testing this capability with Android beta version 2.22.17.23, which is not yet accessible to beta testers.

With the upgrade, WhatsApp users may now choose which WhatsApp Groups see their phone numbers. As you may be aware, WhatsApp displays the phone numbers of everyone who joins a Group, which may be a privacy risk if you are a member of an arbitrary group.

Secure your phone number from them because the function will only be available in WhatsApp groups, which are accessible to companies. Beta testers will be granted access in a subsequent release, since the functionality is currently being evaluated internally.

One of the numerous privacy enhancements WhatsApp plans to roll out to customers in the upcoming months is this one. The implementation of a new security measure called login approval, which helps protect users from having their WhatsApp account hacked, may be the other significant update.

If  attempts to access your account, the function will notify you and even let you know which device was used.  You may choose to make your online status invisible to some contacts, all of your contacts, or everyone.

With its new smart migration tool, WhatsApp also gives you the option to migrate between iOS and Android or vice versa. People will be able to move their conversations, 

photographs, and videos between devices, however the service does not enable calling histories.
