Recently WhatsApp has announced that fingerprint lock system for WhatsApp will also be in android.This new feature allow users to secure their WhatsApp app with  their fingerprint data every time someone opens the app.Before this, it was working in only iphone.Now we can say goodbye to iphone.

on iphone,WhatsApp allows users to rely on TouchID as well as FaceID for securing the WhatsApp chats.FaceID is the only biometric option on modern modle of iphones.If you want to use this feature,you have to update your WhatsApp from google play store.Once the app is installed users need to navigate to the setting and into the privacy setting under the account section to apply this feature or turn on the fingerprint lock.

It also give the more option with new fingerprint unlock feature.Users can now choose to let WhatsApp ask for fingerprint authentication as soon as one closes the app or by the time limit.It will also give the option of hiding the WhatsApp content.This feature or update doesn't appear to be available in all regions just yet, but once it arrives, WhatsApp says you'll be able to toogle on the extra security from the privacy settings menu.It's an extra level security similar to what you might find in a banking app.  WhatsApp for iOS has an additional feature for now - users can also choose to use FaceID as thier means of biometric authentication.
