The settings released for India earlier this year are now similar to the globally released group privacy settings but there is a major change. Earlier, users used to get the option of Nobody in group settings but now WhatsApp has given the option of My Contacts Except instead.
Selecting the My Contacts Except option means that you can select contacts that will not be able to add you to the group. Explain that after choosing Nobody option, no one can add a user to the contact group. This new option can also be released for Indian users.
