Even though the PS3 got off to a bit of a slow start in 2007, don't let that fool you… the PS3 is gearing up for a great year with some hot releases to look forward to. Here's an overview of three games released in 2008. EA's NFL Tour, Free Radical Design's HAZE, and Konami's Coded Arms Assault. NFL Tour Coming from the EA Sport BIG division is what can be considered a bit of a spin-off of their hit NFL Street series. They got rid of the streets and beaches in favor of bigger spectacle arenas. No more playing with barrels and street side walls, you're playing in front of huge crowds with pyrotechnics and the whole 9 yards. There are some progressions in the game as well – if a player initiates contact, you have the opportunity to break a tackle, trip a receiver or give your hit a little extra 'umph'. Street gamers will see the familiar "Gamebreaker" tweak, and much of the gameplay will remain unchanged, otherwise it's just a visual tweak. This game is expected to be released on January 8th, so get ready for it! HERPES Playing as a recruit in the corporate army owned by the large supposedly peaceful organization Mantel is expected to play this game at least twice. Why twice? Of course, once on either side, this is because playing Mantel's side makes you realize that you and your comrades are accidentally pumped with a drug called Nectar, but this leads to some unexpected consequences. Other times, through you, side with the rebels you fought so fiercely. With great looking graphics and an AI that obviously doesn't feel redundant... this gem releases in the states on January 18th. Konami released the game on the PSP early in the system's existence under the name Coded Arms, and after the success of the title, moved on to create another in the series for the PS3. Like HAZE, Coded Arms Assault is a futuristic FPS where you play as a soldier. Your character is apparently a young hacker who gained access to a system he shouldn't have been in and is placed in a virtual war. Bullets are replaced by hexagons and enemies are vaporized. With the game running on the Unreal 3 engine, expect great looking graphics to go hand in hand with the "digitized" effects. This game doesn't have an official release date yet, but by the looks of it, you'll be hearing about it when it does.
Most of the management courses have strategy game playing as a subject. I am a marketer. My product price is say – x. my competitor introduces his/her product at price – y.
what should I do with my price that will increase my share. Because whatever I do, my competitor will manipulate their price.
This becomes a game of strategy between my competitor and me. Who so ever devises a better strategy wins in the marketing competition. Free online games help in thinking development for such situations.
