According to a recent study, about 80 percent of human behavior is shaped by social norms.
As such, there are certain behaviors that humans have always been doing or are doing now, such as eating a sandwich every day, and watching movies on TV. However, while we have already done these things in our homelands, it looks like humanity may need some new ways of living in the future, or even if not, might be able to do so more easily.
According to a report published in Psychology Today, there are four key predictions for the future. One prediction says that robots will take over all the jobs in the 21st century.
This is due to AI becoming smarter than humans, which can result in what is called “robot overlords”, where people get replaced with bots. Another prediction is that AI will replace doctors at least 50 percent by 2030 thanks to the development of better sensors, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
A third prediction is that machines and robots will be capable of making decisions without being affected by emotions, language barriers, judgment calls, or emotions. Finally,
yet another prediction predicts that by 2040 there won’t be enough workers in the labor market to adequately support everyone who needs one.
For instance, currently, a single person works between 6 and 9 hours a day, and then gets paid around $45–$55 an hour, whereas according to this prediction, that number could go down to zero for those who are lucky enough to remain employed.

1030 — Robots Take Over All The Jobs While Emotions Become More Important
According to this prediction, the majority of jobs will become done by AI in this period. Furthermore, robots take their orders instead of having to talk with people to get them done. They will also make decisions independently and efficiently. There will be no need for emotional attachments or biases towards anyone. They will be just like us, but will be smarter and faster.
2040 — Automation Kills 10 Million People and Creates 1/3 Of The Planet's Population
According to this prediction, automation has eliminated 10 million people from the world. It’s creating 1/3 of the planet’s population, which is equivalent to half the Earth’s entire population. You can guess why people don’t want to work in an environment where they can’t live.
2050 — If I Was Born 5 Years Later, 2020 Would Be So Different
According to this prediction, if I was born today, 2020 would be much different than it is right now. Everything would have changed, including climate change. Specifically, the polar icecaps would melt much quicker than they have ever melted before. Additionally, there would be less sea life because there wouldn’t be any predators of fish, turtles, and whales. Not much of a difference that we know of, right?
2030 — Humanism Becomes Mainstream
According to this prediction, humanism becomes mainstream by 2030 and will be the main belief system of humans all over the planet. By taking away all religious beliefs and traditions, it will allow people to focus on themselves and other people, rather than thinking everything to do with religion is “wrong”. Plus, it will allow people who have autism or depression to be seen and heard, as it will let them live normal lives, and not have to hide away because they are ashamed to show who they truly are.
2040 – Everyone Is Able To Earn Their Own Way
For people who didn’t have this chance, because of circumstances beyond their control, this is very important. Those without opportunity don’t get to choose their own fate, and can’t earn their own way. Having someone else help you is almost always better than when you help yourself.
2050 – Women Are Almost Never Attractive
According to this prediction, women are almost never attractive, because most of the time women are judged based on how strong they are, rather than what they look like. Being beautiful usually has something to do with genetics, and having a family history that you should be proud of, but the truth is women may need to turn up with some makeup and hair, to try out the latest trends, to wear clothes they haven’t seen before, and so forth.
2040 - Poverty Will Grow Bigger Than Ever
According to this prediction, poverty will grow to be the largest crisis in the whole world by 2030, and it will grow bigger each year after that, until you can’t imagine the state of poverty without it, until finally it is eradicated completely. Because of the size of global economic problems, it’s going to be harder to stop it, and it’s going to be harder for countries to eradicate it without a united front. That’s why it is very important to keep the money flowing toward its people.
2050 - Air Pollution Takes Risks, But Does It Have Too Many Solutions
According to this prediction, air pollution takes a huge risk, but does it have too many solutions? Unfortunately, there are too many possibilities here.
First off, we know that water and electricity should be cleaner than air when it comes to pollutants, but it isn’t. Just because it is much easier to solve a problem with water doesn’t mean it’s bad. Secondly,
when you think back on what the last times you went out for a burger, did you remember your favorite sauce? Do you remember why it sounds good? Lastly, I believe it’ll probably be okay if you decide to stay home and use electric vehicles.
After all, cars are terrible for the environment, and driving your car more than five times a week certainly makes you spend more money on gas. Last but not least, let’s not forget about the fact that the amount of emissions from transportation sources is increasing, along with the increased consumption of natural resources, and the increased costs. All of these factors that lead to our current situation are things that the average citizen cannot afford, nor can they pay.
With these thoughts in mind, I’m hoping you enjoyed these predictions from all the leading psychologists and scientists. As someone who is studying psychology, I’ve found that we tend to get caught up on what others have said rather than taking any risks.
