We’ve had to wait nearly two years for the third season of The Umbrella Academy but you do not have to wait much longer as the series will be dropping in full on Netflix come June 22nd, 2022. As per all Netflix Originals, the series drops simultaneously around the world but depending on where you live, that may not be until the early morning, afternoon, or even night!

What will ten new episodes bring?

Let's get into it. Here's everything we can tell you about season three of The Umbrella Academy. Season two ended with Umbrellas saving the world in 1963, then jumping back to 2019 to find themselves in a new timeline. This is the Sparrow Academy.

A living Reginald and rebranded academy aren't the only major differences. In the original timeline, 43 women spontaneously gave birth on October 1st, 1989. In this timeline,16 women around the world gave birth. Go on. Seven of those kids form the Sparrow Academy. I adopted them instead of you. The Sparrows and the Umbrellas have very different powers. But Ben is still Ben kind of. Given the circumstances,

the Sparrows and Umbrellas aren't exactly chummy. But it's not all animosity. Season three explores how relationships the Umbrellas developed in 1963continue to impact them in the present. And the Umbrellas encounter a few acquaintances they thought they'd left behind.

More than one academy member learns their powers are not quite what they thought. And academy members will die. Reginald has always been a man, well, alien of mystery. But he can't hold onto all his secrets in season three. Including one about Luther's moon trip. Light is shed on the gold particles that first appeared in season one. And Klaus gets closer to the truth. The gang's world-saving adventures from the past two seasons are minuscule compared to their task of saving the entire universe.
