Google has recently come up with a new feature to ensure that such incidents do not happen. The costume name of that feature is Inactive Account Manager. With this new Inactive Account Manager feature, you can decide what will happen to your Google Account after death.

If you stop using the account, you can now decide what will happen to the information saved by Google. If you do not use the account for a specific day, you can notify any loved one about it. You can also request Google to delete all your information. As a result, even if you do not use the account at the specified time, Google will delete all data in your account.

How to set up an Inactive Account Manager? Let's find out now:

# Open the browser and then click https://myaccount.google.com/.

# Click on Data & Personalization option on the left.

# Scroll down and click on the 'Download, delete, or make a plan for your data' option. 

# Now click on the Make a plan for your account option and tap on the Start button.

# After that, if you do not use the account, it will be inactive; select.

# For this, you can select the time from 3 months to 6 months, 12 months, or 18 months by clicking on the pencil icon.

# Now add a phone number. Google will send a message to this number before deleting the account information.

You can also select # 10 people. These people allow you to share some of your personal information.

# For that, you have to select Add Person and give their email address. Also, select what other information you want to share.

# Now enter their phone number and save. You can also add private messages if you wish. No message will be sent to the contact during account setup.

# Add the subject right after that and save.

# Select Next and enable 'Yes, delete my inactive Google Account' toggle. After that, your account will be deleted at the specified time.

# You can also decide not to delete the account if you want. In that case, the toggle should be disabled.

# Now click on Review Plan to check if all the work is done properly. Then click on Confirm Plan to save.

# After a certain period of time, Google will delete all the information in your account if you wish.
