Moon ..which is earth's only satellite....before you moon for granted, I must tell you the importance of it .....
(1):- as soon as it disappears, the gravitational pull of the moon on eEarthwill be removed; hence the speed of rotation of the world will increase by many times, which will lead to shorter days and nights .... nights and days will be only 6 hours long ...
(2):- wind in our atmosphere will accelerate by very high value (approx 480 km/ hr) then there will be no chance of survival of birds or insects
(3):- EEarth will be no longer at 23½ degrees on its axis ....which will lead to no season or the extreme season
(4 ):-.High tides generally yield smaller waves that take longer to break because there is less resistance from the ocean floor..nights will become much darker ...
It's a not hypothetical situation. We will end up losing our moon eventually.....as the moon is going far and far each year, 1.5 inches ....it may take hundreds of thousands of years, but it will happen...

Each November in the days following the light of a full moon, coral colonies across the reef — spanning an area larger than the state of New Mexico — release millions of egg and sperm sacs within nearly minutes of one another. Scientists are confident that the full moon plays a role in the timing, but exactly how remains a mystery.
On land, animals like these Red Crabs also use lunar cues to reproduce. After living most of their lives in the mountains, millions of adult crabs migrate down to the shore. And then, only during the last quarter of the moon, females release their eggs into the sea.
