What we do in these pandemic days?
Firstly, it is Covid-19.
Now, it is Omicron 2021.
The shape of the world has been changing due to these pandemics as the most affect is on the human population, even sometimes these pandemics affect the other creatures. To save our self, what are the responsibilities on our shoulders and what are the main precautions and measures that we should take to protect our-self our family relatives and the neighbors. Also follow the rules and regulations instructed by the Health Authorities and by the Government. The Health Authorities says that we should keep ourselves neat and clean and wash our hands most of the time. Also, it is our responsibility to spread the awareness regarding their pandemics among people by social media, through conversation with people, also if you are able to write down the articles do the same.
As we are aware that the Omicron is spreading and increasing day by day. Below is the report from the countries where the variant has been found.
In India, the cases has been reached over 30. Also, the cases are rising day by day and tell you one thing increasing of cases is the issue, but the issue is got infected through wrong information about the vaccine.
In U.A.E., the Health Authorities have found a case from a woman travelling from South Africa, though she had received both the doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. The Health Authorities has ordered that the people travelling with her will also be isolated.
In Saudi Arabia, they have also found first case of Omicron traveling from a North African country. The infected citizen and his contacts were isolated. Also, Saudi Arabia cancelled flights to and from Malawi, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, Mauritius, and Comoros.
Lastly WHO warns early that this virus will be more variant than Covid-19 and almost spread over 57 countries already and rapidly spreads in the South Africa. WHO also warns us that it is better to draw conclusion too early about the global impact of Omicron. WHO also added that the growth of the variant will increase, it is unknown whether this will translate into increased transmissibility. According to the report, there have been 899,935 Covid-19 test samples uploaded to global Covid-19 database in last 60 days, 897.886 (99.8%) were confirmed to be delta, while 713 (.1%) were Omicron.
WHO report said South Africa reported 62,021 cases of variant between 29 Nov 2021 and 5 Dec 2021 and during the week to 4 Dec 2021 – 912 cases have reported compared with 502 the week prior. Omicron seems to be spreading rapidly in South Africa, despite the high rate of past infection with Covid-19.
Omicron carries mutations which may reduce the abilities of the antibodies resulting from natural immunity protect against the virus. Study have been done that the 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have a significantly reduced ability to neutralize the Omicron the variant. It is obvious and clear that increased levels of immunity will be required to provide boost protection against the variant, therefore booster shoots are now important than ever to help achieve this.
