Kashmir is the land of knowledge, the 'heaven on the planet earth', it's the place which is filled with love. This is the place which is covered with hills and mountains. Philosophers like Rishi Kashyap went to Kashmir to meditate. Kashmir was named behind his name. Shankaraacharya also came to Kashmir from Kerala to gain knowledge.
Abhinavgupt and Utpaldev also went to Kashmir to research on philosophy. But due to some terrorist this place became a place of fear where people lived in fear. Where Hindus were slaughtered, where the Muslims who tried to protest against the terrorism were killed. Where the wives and daughters were rapped and were forced to change their caste. But was this the war of religion. The answer is 'NO' it was the war between humanity and terror. Even the small child were taught that they have to pick up stones and fight against the Hindus and the Indian soldiers.
Many people were forced to leave their homes and run to save their lives and their families. Not only Hindus but also many Muslims who supported them. Many people were burnt alive, many people were slaughtered like a goat or a sheep. It's not just about Kashmiri Pandit, but about Kashmir and it's people. Was this the heaven we always heard of? Just because of few terrorists, the whole Kashmir was sealed for days. The doors of heaven were closed for all for years. I never went to Kashmir, but one day, I will. Hindus were treated as Musafir in their own state. Was this right? Were they Musafir? No they weren't. They were always Kashmiris. They are always Kashmiris, and they will always be Kashmiris. And one day they will return to their homes not as a Musafir, but as a citizen of Kashmir. If people understand this that no religion is above humanity. Then these terrorists can never ever take advantage of the people and the tragedy that happened in Kashmir will never ever be repeated. Kashmir was an integral part of India, and it will always be. Though I'm not into politics but, it was really a great step to remove article 370. This film depicts how the people are brainwashed by these terrorists in the name of god and religion. And how the people were forced to leave their homes for their lives. The people claimed it to be an exodus, but No, It was always a Genocide. People were killed, people were forced to leave their houses and state. Many think that this films only shows the pain and misery of Hindu Pandit. No if u can feel the movie it shows how not only Hindus but also Muslims were forced to leave their homes who didn't Support the terrorism.
Kashmir can again be the one which the people dreamt of, again the doors of heaven can be reopened but for that we all have to join our hands and fight against terrorism. I know all the people in India loves Kashmir as much as I do.
