Flagship devices are the one segment that is always looked upon with suspicion. The claim of being a flagship device should be true only if has the necessary hardware and ultimate performance like a flagship device. The new Xiaomi Mi 10 has guided the way of how a true flagship device should be. Today let's open up the flagship and see what a true flagship should be.

After switching off the device and removing the sim-tray, we can remove the back glass which is tightly attached to the body with the right adhesives. Taking it apart, we can now see the back glass which is corning gorilla glass 5 and is resistant to scratches and accidental falls.
After removing the back case, the first component that catches our eye is the wireless charging coil. Many OEMs are claiming their device as flagship and omitting wireless charging. Xiaomi has even gone further to provide a wireless 33W support that makes the charging easy as well as quick.
Then we can see a glimpse of the NFC pad and 2-Layer Heat Conducting Graphite. NFC is something similar to wireless charging which is nowadays a must-have feature in a flagship device. Xiaomi has done a terrific job in bringing in this feature. The device also has heat-conducting graphite for easy cooling of the device while gaming.
Removing the wireless charging and NFC pads, we can now detach the camera module from the mainboard. This camera module is a beast holding a mammoth 108MP primary sensor. It also has a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor, 2 MP Macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The primary 108MP is a beast and has optical image stabilization (OIS) and we can see how big it is compared with the other sensors.
Now we can see Dual symmetric speakers at the bottom and top sides of the device. The flagship Mi 10 has gone with a true stereo speaker setup with no compromise on sound quality. Many other claimed flagship has a lesser lowered speaker as a secondary speaker. What Xiaomi has done is that they are using two identical real speakers as primary and secondary to offer a true stereo sound experience.
Now what's left in the body of the device is the mainboard and the battery Xiaomi has made use of the body with a linear vertical mainboard design and similar battery design to increase the battery capacity without any dimension changes.
Taking a close look at the mainboard's upper part we can now see the Qualcomm X55 5G modem which makes the device special and useful in the future as well.
Next to the modem, we can see the fast LPDDE5 RAM and the ultimate Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The combination of both this component makes the device ultra-fast with zero lag on whatever task is thrown at it.
Taking apart the mainboard and battery from the body, we can now take a glimpse of the 4-layer graphite sheet for fast heat dissipation and a huge 3000mm valour chamber. This will be very useful for gamers for an uninterrupted gaming experience.
The device had a beautiful AMOLED display with a super-fast in-display fingerprint scanner. The edges of the screen are 3D curved to give you a more immersive experience especially during gaming and streaming.
