If you lose a lot of weight after Gastric Bypass Weight-Loss Surgery surgery, it is difficult to change the way we think and the way we incorporate our new lifestyle habits. As we shrink, it is important that we begin to “think like the little one” or rather (let's all get used to this putting the language together) and “think as the thin ones think.” Why should we do this? Because if we fail to do this, we could easily fall into the trap of bad habits that pushed us down the path to obesity. No matter what stage you are in your weight loss journey right now, you will soon be the victim of those longtime bad associations (aka habits). They will devour your good thoughts and encourage you to eat all the bad things you want so that you can give yourself over to your food addiction. But DON'T DO IT! Put on your THOUGHT weapons immediately to thwart all progress! I remember as a teenager, knowing many of my peers who, even at a young age, were obsessed with their weight, calculating calories, worrying about adequate exercise, and monitoring the tightness of their clothes. I thought this was very weird as I had no weight problems at the time. I could eat anything and it would never show a pound on the scale. Of course, in retrospect, I was physically active, so weight loss was not the most important thing in my life at the time. I didn’t need to think like a thin person. However, when I was a little overweight (317 pounds), I realized that I had found that way a little bit because I had no basis for “thinking as the little one thinks.” And without that foundation, I missed the wonderful opportunity to think. change some of my bad habits. Consider that obesity is much deeper than just overcoming bad habits… obesity has many facets; but in this writing, I want to focus on one thing, and that is the way we “think”. When I examine the reason why young people think, I find interesting behavior. People who are thin think about: • Food components • How they feel about each meal. They know when they can no longer be bitten and stop eating • How their clothes look good • The way they look in the mirror • The way they look to others • Exercising or doing something out of the ordinary can do something static • Drinking water instead of cold drinks • Substituting sugar, protein supplements, and taking your vitamins religiously • Eating fruit rather than eating potato chips • Keeping the "low" weight of any EMT team in an OH emergency situation, that list of concerns in young people's minds continues how! I bet you are thinking of a few right now! I have to laugh when I think of one of my high school friends who asked me every day after lunch if I wanted to go out with him and “finish my calories”… .. REALLY! He believed that shivering caused calorie burns; so whether it was five degrees outside in the middle of a snowstorm, he marched out for five full minutes and squandered his calories! CRAZY, huh? However, every time I saw him in my class competitions, he was like the thin kid he had been kudala .so he probably knew a thing or two about shivering calories! Today scientists call it "fidgeting", which has been proven to burn calories throughout the day. So when you touch that nervous foot, you burn calories. What we used to see as weird all over for the thin ones, now we have to look at them as more important and important, and we have to incorporate their wisdom into our daily lives so that we can be younger and healthier, we will be thinking. and acting like him too. Thinking like a thin person every day does not happen overnight. It is something that should always be done. Now, I will NOT allow the disturbing eating habits of people with anorexic or bulimic participation in it, and I will not allow or encourage hunger as some very thin people do to maintain that “waif” look. Such disorders are dangerous and have no bearing on how thin you are! Such thinking and practices are distorted and do not represent the common denominator. After surgery, they say, it takes about three years to really get used to the “new.” And I can confirm that, as I have been in surgery for more than three years and sometimes forget that I lost weight. heavy weight as I find myself wandering aimlessly in the Plus Size department! Scale and label on clothing may mean one thing on the outside; but inwardly our minds were not completely convinced that we were thin. Make some commitments today to start changing the way you think. Be aware of the good habits of young people and find a place in your life for those same good deeds. Gradually you will become a little person, inside and out!
