What Things You Must Know About Booster Dose ?

Ministry of health and family welfare had already defined criteria of booster dose and booster dose registration in INDIA as already started for the senior citizens and for the eligible senior citizens of taking the booster dose and will send SMS and remind them

Even as INDIA started its COVID-19 Vaccination for children aged between 15-18 years old from January 3 booster dose for frontline workers and senior citizens will begin from next week which is January 10

All persons aged 60 years and above will be eligible to get booster dose after completing their two doses of COVID-19 for that government will be sending SMS to the elderly eligible population to remind them of taking their third dose which is their booster dose

IMPORTANCE OF BOOSTER DOSE

A booster dose is an extra of a vaccine after the earlier dose, a booster dose provides extra strength to the body it re levels the body of getting more power energy compared to the earlier doses which were not much powerful booster provides immunity to the body level against the antigen back

The need for a booster dose following a primary vaccination is important in many ways

One way is to measure the level of antibodies which is specific against the disease a few years after the primary dose is given it helps in increasing the immunity level the booster is immunity booster to the body in short

Protection against the COVID-19,

The difference between boosters and third doses

Currently, the commends that people who are significantly immunocompromised receive a third dose of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines currently approved by the FDA (Pfizer, which has full FDA approval, and Moderna, which has emergency use authorization).

A booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine is different from what’s currently labeled a “third dose” primarily because of the difference in eligibility and timing.

a booster refers to a dose of a vaccine given to someone who did likely build enough protection initially when they received vaccination, but who may have lost some of that protection over time. It’s called waning immunity, and it’s something scientists and health officials expected to happen with COVID-19 vaccines.

'COVID-19' VACCINE BOOSTER

Most people who got vaccine against COVID-19 are already protected against serious illness from the coronavirus 'but' that does not mean you are safe safety is still in your hands the more you follow the rules and regulations the safe you are wear mask and go outside use sanitizer wash hands properly maintain social distancing always 'but' people are still not following but still government is doing all good by bringing booster for people and let world come out of this problem

But COVID-19 dose's expiry date will also be gone so is the final booster dose but even highly effective vaccines often become less effective in times and the coronavirus vaccines are no exception

Initial evidence on mRNA vaccine like Pfizer and Moderna suggest that they start to lose some of their power against infection and serious illness, regardless of variant of the virus {Ex Alpha, Beta, Delta, etc.}

'So' the government has decided to provide booster as soon as possible and get some relaxation for times and for future will see and fight as of now fighting and struggling
