What the Benefit of Yoga – Fight or Flight?

Medical conditions can be greatly improved with the benefits of yoga. Yoga can reduce the side effects of conditions such as lung disease, Parkinson's, insomnia, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis, and even joint pain. The benefits of yoga are seen today as an alternative to not only the yoga community, but also the many practitioners of medicine. Depression is a major cause of many illnesses today. A remarkable phenomenon in today's world is noted by the Surgeon General who estimates that “80% of people who die from non-malignant causes actually die from depression”. In this fast-paced world, it is not surprising that people turn to other solutions. The beneficial use of yoga is one of such solutions. As depression develops in the brain, it is natural for conditions such as depression, anxiety, compulsive disorder, a number of autoimmune diseases, some forms of diabetes mellitius, other cardiovascular diseases, and irritable bowel syndrome. the foremost of the human condition and quality of life today. External stress is reflected in the response of our nervous system. Motivation triggers, known as "Fighting or flying" affect both our body and our well-being. In the face of danger, whether real or imagined, the mind prepares the body for one of these two situations. Manifestations are in the form of high heart rate, high blood pressure, and the closure of unnecessary bodily functions, such as digestion. All systems focus on two things - either "flying" or "fighting." Breathing becomes harder, muscles tighten while waiting for action, and blood flow to vital organs decreases. The process of digestion and digestion closes. This would be a good thing - our body is ready to defend itself. However, problems arise when the situation persists. The "flying or fighting" mode is intended to be a temporary event. One can see that prolonged exposure to this condition will have serious physical consequences. Yoga can change that. In nature, the antagonistic “fight or flight” approach is known as the “luxury response” or parasympathetic nervous system. The main nerves of the parasympathetic system are the ten cranial nerves, or vagus nerve. They are derived from medulla oblongata. Parasympathetic stimulation causes heart palpitations, low blood pressure, increased blood pressure in the skin and viscera, and peristalsis of the GI tract - the exact opposite of "fighting or flying" symptoms. Yoga does this by teaching the student to breathe deeply and to relax the muscles. The benefits of yoga are obvious. The body recovers faster, and the harmful effects of stress are reduced. Yoga subscribes the theory that through the use of breathing and relaxation techniques, the harmful effects of stress on the body can be eliminated, or at least greatly reduced. Through meditation and calmness of spirit, yoga teaches us to deal with “fighting or fleeing” situations from threatening to challenging. One can by practice focus on finding a solution, rather than making a quick response to a stimulus. Man learns to be diligent, and to take care of the things that stress him in his life. The benefits of yoga are undeniable. By applying the techniques of this ancient practice, anyone can achieve the balance and harmony needed in their lives. Remember, though, that just one thing is not the solution to all of life's problems. By combining yoga with modern healing miracles and traditional healing remedies, the average person in today's world will enjoy a long, happy life.
