Pant has been able to score only one half-century in the last 10 innings.  He scored an unbeaten 52 against West Indies.  Due to poor performance, Pant may be dropped from the T20 team and Ishan Kishan or Dinesh Karthik may get a chance in his place.

 Rishabh Pant is captaining the Indian team in the T20 series against South Africa. In the five-match series, both the teams are tied at two points each. The Indian team had to face defeat in the first two matches of this series, but winning the latter two matches, the Indian team made a great comeback. However, Captain Pant's performance in this series has been very poor. In four matches, only 57 runs have come off his bat and he has not returned unbeaten in any match. After this the sword is hanging in his place in the Indian team. Players like Dinesh Karthik, Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul can replace Pant.

 After the series against South Africa, India have about 15 matches to play, but Pant is not included in the T20 squad against Ireland. In such a situation, Pant has a chance in the last match of the series against South Africa and the series against West Indies, in which he can save his place in the team by batting well.

Scored more than 20 only thrice in 10 innings

 Pant has scored more than 20 scores only three times in the last 10 innings and has returned unbeaten only three times. Pant, batting at number five, has been able to score more than 20 only once after getting the responsibility of captaincy. He scored 29 runs in the first match. Against South Africa, Pant is getting out on a wide ball outside the off-stump. From spin bowlers to fast bowlers, Pant has also been dismissed on the wide ball.

 What is the opinion of veterans?

 Veterans like Sunil Gavaskar and RP Singh have also given statements against Pant. RP Singh has said that Pant bats very aggressively in Tests, but is not able to do so in T20. What is the reason for this?

 Sunil Gavaskar has said that it is not a good thing for Pant to be dismissed continuously outside the off-stump. They are not learning anything. The bowlers are constantly bowling him outside the off-stump and he is getting caught in this net, he has to avoid playing aerial shots on these balls. He has been dismissed in the same manner in ten innings this year, if he had not left the ball, then many balls would have been wide. It is not a good thing for India captain to be dismissed in the same manner.

These three players can replace Pant

 Rishabh Pant will have to perform well to save his place in the Indian team. If they are not able to bat well, then KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan and Dinesh Karthik can be given a chance in their place. Karthik is playing as a finisher in the current team of India and is in great rhythm.
