How many of you who read this . Write to your blog on a daily basis? A lot can be said if you look at the recent figures. However, are you taking advantage of that effort to maximize your results? If you do not submit your blog posts to one or more directories of articles, there is no answer!
Why do we blog?
Everyone who blogs has a reason to blog, it's just to read your thoughts from a few people. Other reasons to blog may include: linking to a commercial website in your posts, attracting links to your blog for revenue purposes to increase search engine traffic, or to achieve higher PR. In fact, every time you create a post you have the opportunity to create outbound links, optimize your post for search engines and earn advertising revenue when readers come.
Reusing posts as articles
After you create a blog post, why stop there? With very little extra effort, you can submit your original blog posts to article directories. Every time your webmaster uses your article, you can expect them to link to you via the author bio you provided. It allows you to improve search engine rankings for the words you choose, attract links to achieve higher PR, and increase the number of visitors to your site.
These are the things you do when writing a blog post in the first place! Obviously, if you do not use the synergy available between the blog and the article directory, you should start doing so. The effort involved is minimal and the chances of repayment are huge.
I have a note of precautions to be provided. Search engines usually detect duplicate content and keep it away from search engine rankings. Web browsers can find your article anywhere other than on your own site if it generates traffic through search engines. You can make sure that you rewrite your article to exclude the use of any keywords that you have targeted.
Blog Post vs Article
I want to explain the difference that blog posts are generally friendly. You can link to content or use HTML to spice up your posts the way you want. Articles are very limited. To give you a wide range of options for publishing, you need to rewrite your blog post so that it does not contain any HTML except subtitles that are displayed as bold text.
Submitting article directories
Tons of article directories are available to choose from. Personally, I use the article directory that provides the distribution service. This allows me to link my article to one site and not have to add it manually to the whole group of other sites - the article delivery service takes care of the extra legwork for me.
The mechanics of submitting to an article directory include: register or login to my account, click the submit icon, paste my blog post in the form provided, and add a link to my blog, blog post or related webpage. Add a brief biography to the site, and then lastly to preview the results before confirming my submission. It's really that simple.
