The common condition affecting the skin of people between the ages of 12 and 24 is a disease called acne. It is very difficult to determine the cause of acne. However, overgrowth of the sebaceous glands is shown to be the cause of the outbreak of much acne.
Sebaceous units are a combination of two structures which includes, hair follicles and oily glands on the skin. In addition to the surface of the palms and soles of the feet, sebaceous units are found in the skin tissue throughout the body. They have the responsibility of producing an oily substance called sebum. However, due to some factors, for example: hormonal imbalances and skin condition, oil glands may be stimulated to produce more sebum. When this happens, too much oil connects all the pores of the skin. This process triggers viral infections and stimulates the immune system, which results into acne inflammation.
Acne can affect any type of skin whether it is dry, oily etc. But, oily skin can be easily infected by acne. Dry skin, o may not be dangerous, but severe rashes may occur in winter. Normal-skin is velvety, with no acne and even in color
Currently, acne is not completely cured, but can be treated with a variety of skin care products. Many people seek the help of topical medications, applied to the skin surface. However, using acne skin care products such as "pore strip pads" may remove whiteheads and blackheads but will not affect the excess sebum production.
However, for solution and prevention, it is best to use the following 8 simple tips:
1- Healthy food should be considered. Therefore, your diet should include all the nutrients necessary for your body to function properly.
2- Drink plenty of liquids such as water, juices. Reduce the carbonated beverage's intake.
3- No makeup is required to do.
4- Wash your face with soap and water. This helps in not to remove impurities (as most people with acne find it) but to remove the plugs from the pores of the skin, which may be a combination of dead skin cells, germs and strong sebum. Although, dirt is not really the cause of acne, it may contribute to the progression of the disease by its interaction with skin tissues as well as particles and extra oil on the skin.
5- Use cleansing pads that may contain one or a combination of the following: salicylic acid, sulfur and benzoyl peroxide to remove excess oil. Another way to reduce the presence of excess oil on the skin is to wash your face with hot water that can you bear.
6- Reduce the use of harsh cleansers and use easy-to-remove acne skin care products. Do not rub vigorously to the areas that are affected.
7- If your hands are dirty, avoid touching your face.
8- If you have long hair, tie your hair so that it is kept away from the face. This is especially so when the weather is hot and, you have been sweating.
Preventive skin care actions are just as important as the treatment for acne itself. By preventing, at least, you know how to make sure your acne problem does not spread to a large infected area.
