As good as modern medical technology is, it can never save you from the problems caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. Better a poor horse than horse at all. One ounce of prevention is definitely better than one pound of treatment. There are seven tips to help you live a longer and healthier life. In addition, the same lifestyle that helps you avoid illness also helps you lose weight.
1) Get plenty of exercise. In the past, people had to use their physical body during their normal activities. But today someone might get up, go to work in the car, then sit down, get up in the car to go home and get home and sit down again for the rest of the day. There is no physical exertion in such a life. This physical inactivity is a major cause of many diseases. Running, walking and other things must be included in our lives if we do not need to work hard physically for our normal work.
2) Go to sleep when you feel sleepy. This may sound simple, but many people wake up late even when their body is telling them it's time to go to bed. Yoga and Ayurvedic doctors also that it is better to sleep at night and stay active during the day. However, people like students will take more and more motivation to study till late at night. Develop the other habit of staying active at night and sleeping during the day. While we can do this, it ultimately affects health. Alternative health doctors say that this kind of unnatural life is one of the leading causes of cancer and other diseases.
3) Eat when you feel hungry. It's a simple idea, but again, these would mean that you have to spend for these processes. If you eat out of habit or due to social pressure at certain times of the day, even when you are not really hungry, you will not be able to digest your food properly. Acidity and indigestion begin, and this increases the chances of other complex diseases taking root. Being hungry is actually a sign of good health, but if you do not feel hungry, then wait a while and then eat. (If you do not feel hungry even after waiting for the right time, you should consult a doctor because something is wrong.
4) Fast on a regular, organized basis If you tell someone to work 365 days a year without any rest, they will complain and tell you to rest a little, or they will break. But we never bothered to ask or think about our digestive organs that we are forced to work day in and day out without rest. They can't protest like a person does in front of their boss, but they signal to us that they can't work without stopping. When we ignore these signals and still force them to work, those limbs break. Therefore, regular fasting is essential. Avoid eating all day long. It relaxes your digestive tract and helps your body excrete wastes. Regular fasting gives a person extra time for intellectual or spiritual activities. Fasting is not for those who live in caves, but is a wise act that anyone can do.
5) Wash with cold water before going to bed. As mentioned above, proper sleep is essential to maintaining better health. If you wash your vital motor and sensory organs (hands, arms, eyes, legs, mouth, genitals) with cold water before going to bed, it will give you peace of mind and prepare you for a deep sleep.
6) Meditate regularly. Your body is connected to your brain. Many of the diseases of this age are psychological. Anxiety and stress effect on our physical health. Meditation is a mental exercise that allows you to free yourself from the worries of life, among other things. Learn a simple technique and follow it carefully.
7) Get up early every day.
Once again, the old adage, "Going to bed early, getting up early makes a person healthy, rich and wise." I don't know if it shall make you rich, but it will make you healthy. Your body needs enough sleep, neither too much nor too little
