What's God Happiness Principle

Happiness is a state of hearing content. Are you happy? Can you honestly say that you are always happy? Or, could it be that you are an emotionally charged person: happy when things go your way; sad, frustrated, or angry if not?

You just need to do a Google search to see how many people are looking for real happiness. There are countless tomes, lessons, and strategies on how to find true happiness. What comes to your mind when someone asks you if you are happy? Peace, a perfect match, surrounded by like-minded people in a truly peaceful world? Perhaps you desire to be able to control all your emotions until you can “get rid” of all the turmoil in the world around you and to be able to fully control your inner peace and happiness no matter what your circumstances are.

You have a God-given mind to consult, learn handicrafts, and to understand the world around you. Then there are the “experts” and “experts” who have tried, tested, and shared “the facts.” However, human wisdom has its limitations. Only God's wisdom is infinite! He tells you that His thoughts are not the same as your thoughts, and your ways are not the same as His. (Isaiah 55: 8) He states: “With rejoicing, you people will go forth, and with peace, you will be brought low; the mountains and the hills themselves will become cheerful before you with a joyful outcry, and the very trees of the field will all clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. (Isaiah 55: 12-13)

Now that is one of His many promises of happiness. It is much more than a description or a guide. It is His assurance that, though He began in life as a “thorn,” by His power and grace He will grow as a tall cypress. In the preceding chapter, he says that the mountains will pass away, and the hills will be removed; but his steadfast love shall not depart from thee, neither shall his covenant of peace be removed. But he does not stop there. You too will be strengthened in righteousness. And, thou shalt be far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror; because it will never come near you! Chapter 24 concludes: “No weapon formed against you will have any success, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

So if God is for you, who can be against you? He is the One Who fights for you in your battles, Protects you, feeds you, and Heals you. To tell you straight not to be afraid. That is more than a promise; it is pure truth! He did not say “you will be there,” as you can do in the future. No! "will" make a statement of truth; agreement made! Why? Because when you cling to Him and obey His commandments, your faith will grow and fear, contrary to faith, it will no longer have power over you!

Now if that isn't perfect happiness, then I don't know what it is! There will always be trials and tribulations, no matter how many mental gymnasts you do or how many “how to do” books you read. But… if you live in the secret place of the Highest, you will live (there is that word “you will” again)!) Under the shadow of the Almighty. You call on him, and he will answer you. he will be with you in distress; he shall deliver thee, and he shall glorify thee; With long life, He will satisfy you, and show you His salvation. (Ps. 91: 1, 2, 15, 16)

May He bless you and make you completely happy in the assurance that you have a caring heavenly Father in all aspects of your life!
