Rules of the Game of Tennis
After watching the match between two of the top male tennis players Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, you feel you can do what they do. So you buy a tennis racquet with a few balls and hit the tennis courts.
The good thing about tennis is that it is a game you will not have a problem understanding. In fact, by simply watching a game on TV, you may already be able to pull the trigger.
It is interesting to note that tennis rules have not changed over the centuries. The main goal of the game is for a player to take the ball out of the net and the other player not to hit it.
Opponents face each other on the opposing sides of the court. "Server" throws the ball and starts the set. "Recipient" is a player on the other side. Server and receiver are determined by the amount of the deposit.
The server stands behind the foundation in the closure of a private stadium in the case of a private game, and in a double line if it is a double game.
Strange points are set in the benefit court while equal points are set in the deuce court. It is important that the server notifies the recipient. It should only work once the recipient is ready.
Servers must move from the base deuce server to the recipient service box. If the server does not hit the ball twice, it does not actually get a point. The first miss is called a “Fault” and the second miss is called a “Double Fault.”
The recipient must return the server ball. He can stand wherever he wants but he has to let the ball bounce in the middle of the feed box. When the ball fails to do so, the referee calls it a “mistake.” More to do. If the ball hits an opponent before it jumps, the server gets points.
If the ball lands in the net or off the field, the player who hits the ball loses a point. Players must not touch the net, drop a racquet while hitting the ball or let the ball jump over the net. If he does, he loses a point.
Points 15, 30 and 40. If there is a tie, the referee calls it a “deuce.” In the case of "deuce," where one player gets a point, then the referee calls it "profit." That player has to get another point to win the set. If not, the referee calls the “deuce” again.
In announcing points, server points are first called. If the result is zero, the referee calls it “Love” and not zero.
The first player to win 6 games in a set is announced the winner of that set. Suppose the points reach 5-5, then there will be a tie-breaker. This is a relay that leads the first player to earn 10 points.
From 5-5, points can be 6-5 or 5-6. The first player to score 7 points is the winner of the set.
For the men's game, there are five top sets. The first player to win three sets is said to have won. For the women's game, there is a limit of three sets. The first player to receive two sets is said to have won.
