I was reminded of similar events that are in my memory. Events that give me moments of happiness and warm feelings of love every time I remember them. I was reminded of an incident that occurred last summer when I was walking the trail at one of my favorite local parks. It's a beautiful forest that skirts the beach for miles.
At one point I heard the delightful sound of children laughing and shouting with joy coming from the direction of the beach. As I looked through the trees toward the beach I saw an older couple with two young children.
I'm guessing it was grandma, grandpa, and the grandkids. As I stood there for a moment enjoying their fun the grandpa looked up at me. Even though I was quite a distance from them, I could see a huge smile on his face.
