Let me take you through my business journey. I was initially apprehensive, on starting a business of my own. Coming from a family, where all are into service, it was a courageous decision to make. However, my courage has paid off. The only tough part of this decision, was the decision-making process itself.
I joined Cue math in June this year and started making profit from the first month itself. For those of you, who do not know of Cue math, it is an after school math learning help for kids from grade UK G to 10. A Cue math center is like a franchise center of the company, where you need to take classes for students up to grade 6. Higher classes are being catered by online classes.
One has to appear for a screening test, before being declared eligible to be a Cue math Teacher Partner. This test is the first level quality check they make to ensure their brand quality. Coming back to my story, I then had to make a deposit of Rs.7000 to buy a Math box from them. Another, 8000 rupees I had to spend on buying a tablet. This was all the investment I have ever made in my franchise. I was also trained extensively and certified. This entire training of about two weeks duration helped me a lot in my future business operations, to handle any type of situation that may arise in my business journey. The training proved immensely helpful for me, to kick-start my business. Personally, it helped me gain my lost confidence. I now do not hesitate in taking up challenges.
After the training phase, begun my start-up phase. I had some restless moments thinking about how to get enrollments. But again, though not a cakewalk, it proved to be easier than I thought. Cue math had my back at all times. Their creative ideas of conducting different events paid off. In a couple of weeks, I was able to start a full batch. This also helped me get a part of my small investment of Rs.7000 back, as a part of their incentive. There has been no looking back since then. I get umpteen queries every week for new enrollments. How much, I want to grow my business is entirely my decision. My growth is a function of my time. The more time I give, the more batches I take, the more money I make. Simple, isn't it?
In addition to your physical center, one can opt to take classes for their online centers too. However, one needs to train and test separately for them.
I will not say, that it was a smooth sailing journey for me. There were challenges, but with the support of the team, these challenges were made easy. I could have started a tuition center of my own, but that wouldn't give me the creative satisfaction that I get with Cue math.
