What, Money Can Not Buy You Happiness

I am sure there will be many folks who read this text and can think I'm rather mad. I don't care. in this text, I indite what in my humble opinion are the foremost important things in life, health, and happiness.

All that the bulk of my friends mention is money:

What car do I drive? How much is your house worth?

How much do I earn? How much did your suit cost?

Where are you happening next holiday this year?

I find all of this very boring and think that they are rather sad. they seem to be in some reasonable competition and are basically hooked on the cash.

I will provide you with an example of 1 such friend, his name is John. He never seems to talk about anything and is commonly looking into get-rich-quick schemes. he's also during a lottery syndicate, of which there are about fifty members.

Each member pays around ten pounds per week.

John likes to travel out socializing on a Saturday night, however, soon gets wanderlust at the time of the lottery draw. a pair of minutes later he will attend the restroom where he will then phone his girlfriend. He takes with him to the restroom barely of paper along with his numbers thereon and barely pen. After his girlfriend has told him which numbers were drawn, John will then spend around twenty minutes checking his numbers, then re-checking to determine if he has any winning lines.

Eventually, he returns to the group who seems very keen (apart from me) to hunt out what proportion he has won/lost.

to date he has only won small amounts, however, is convinced that at some point he will become a millionaire. He will then start talking about the lottery, asking people what they may buy if they were lucky enough to ever win. At now, I become very bored and start to wish I had stayed reception and watched the football. For me, the two most vital things in life are health and happiness.

These are two things which money can't buy. a pair of years ago, my dad was taken ill.

He was in a really bad way and had to spend around five months in hospital. His being ill was an infinite shock to me as he was only fifty-seven. I feared the worst, albeit I was accustomed be trying my hardest to think and stay positive.

I remember thinking, if I gave those doctors everything I own within the planet, it still wouldn't help him.

I felt powerless and at that moment realized that cash is solely paper. Happiness is that identical, I remember at the age of twenty-one having any money and had been surprised that I was accustomed be depressed at the identical time. At other times I even have had next to no money and am extremely happy.

These are my thoughts if you accept as true with me so comment to me and tell me what's  wrong these are my thoughts if you accept as true with me so comment to me and tell me what's wrong
