Begin with a healthy dose of gratitude:
Having a mindful awareness of what you're grateful for can truly affect your happiness level.
Spend some time each morning remembering all the things for which you are grateful. You can keep a thankfulness notebook before going to bed. Write down 3 to 5 items for which you were glad that day, along with why. To assist your brain grasp on to all of that goodness, use all five senses to clearly visualize these things.
Laugh Every Day It Makes You Feel Better:
Do you chuckle at least once a day? Do you go out of your way to discover amusing things to laugh about?
When you laugh, happy hormones like oxytocin and endorphins are released. These are the hormones that make us feel good when we share our experiences with others. Even just smiling at yourself will make you feel better.
It's claimed that laughter releases these hormones to improve social bonding, so get together with pals for a healthy dose of laughter and increased social connection. These are the things that bring you joy.
You can also bond with individuals through shared experiences, such as the highs and lows of life. They become your support system and assist in bringing more of the things that make people joyful into their lives.
Do What You Want to Do:
Have you ever heard the adage, "Do what you love, and the money will take care of itself?" Doing activities you enjoy–and even better, getting paid to do them–is a great way to increase your happiness.
You're more inclined to appreciate other elements of your life when work feels like fun.
Give of Your Time:
When you volunteer your time or talent, you move your focus from your own life to the lives of others.
This can assist you in seeing that your own difficulties may not be as severe as you think. You invariably form new friendships and enjoy a spiritual high.
Volunteering can also offer you a sense of purpose and keep you busy during your downtime. It will also boost your self-esteem as you gain a better understanding of yourself and your place in the world.
Don't Make Comparisons to Others:
This is easier said than done, but if you can train your mind to focus on the good you're doing and the wonderful things in your life, you won't be inclined to worry about how others are doing.
IF YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY, DO NOT DWELL IN THE PAST, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE, FOCUS ON LIVING FULLY IN THE PRESENT. THE UPS AND DOWNS ARE A PART OF LIFE WE HAVE TO CROSS IT OUT.
DO WHAT YOU REALLY WANTS TO DO IT GIVE YOU A HAPPINESS.
