What makes wine more protective against Cholesterol and Coronary Heart Disease?

In recent years, scientists have concluded that many human diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and the effects of aging can be caused or aggravated by an invading group of chemicals called free radicals.

They cause damage by oxidative inflammation in tissues such as blood vessels (closed arteries) and joints called Rheumatics or Arthritis and localized cells called benign growths or Cancer that are completely inspired.

 

In this case, a knight-in-shining-armor jumps in to help and clean up these hungry little killers. The name of our crusader is Antioxidants.

Without many technologies, the process of oxidation in our bodies is essential to health, without which, for example, we would not be able to extract energy from our diet. However, if there are too many radicals in our bodies, this can be very harmful.

Our body has its defenses against free radicals, in the form of enzymes that can convert hungry young sharks that use tissue into harmless water, but sometimes the body's natural immune systems cannot cope with it.

 

Occasionally, outdoor events can cause a dramatic increase in free radicals in our bodies, such as x-rays, cigarette smoke, and exposure to other toxic substances. And then, the proliferation of free radicals can damage our immune system, and disease can occur.

 

So how are free oxidation and free radicals related to heart disease?

Low-density lipoprotein, known as "bad" LDL, can penetrate and accumulate in our arteries' inner walls, which, under certain conditions, form fatty tissue and plaque.

When taken alone, LDL particles are less harmful, and it seems; however, when attacked by free radicals, they turn into dangerous and aggressive cells, which can penetrate and damage the smooth inner walls of our arteries through local inflammation,

 

So Oxidized LDL is responsible for regenerating the disease: cardiovascular disease, heart disease, and stroke. As the name suggests, antioxidants help stop the oxidation process, which is the result of free radicals doing their thing, and much antioxidant research has been done on vitamins (A, E, beta carotene). Still, much of the work is also done with the health benefits of red wine.

While much research has been done on red wine about heart disease, it seems that the benefits of wine do not end there. For example, red wine contains many flavonoids; these chemicals give the wine its unique flavor, color, and character, making it unique.

 

Many of these flavonoids act as antioxidants. Perhaps the forerunner of the study of wine was made by Serge Renaud, who discovered the French Paradox, who suggested that wine was a decisive factor in protecting people in southern France from their high-fat diets and eventually heart disease.

Although these people eat a lot of high-fat cheese, pâté, and salami have the lowest rates of heart disease in the world.

Another study, mathematical rather than practical, conducted by Professor Gray of the Swiss University of Bern focused on the low, medium, and high rates of heart disease (CHD) of the World Health Organization.

 

The high mortality rates are Finland and Scotland, the central areas include Ireland, and low CHD areas include Spain, Italy, and France. He then compared the incidence of heart attack with antioxidant levels in blood samples taken from men living in those areas.

His results showed that high antioxidants, especially vitamin E, were associated with lower mortality rates.

In addition, those low vitamin E levels were 94% more accurate in predicting CHD levels than cholesterol levels or blood pressure figures! Apart from food, the higher regions of CHD drink more of the wine if there is wine, and their diet traditionally accompanies the lower areas for many days and wine.

 

But it certainly seems surprising that the two cities are so well-read; Glasgow in Scotland and Toulouse in France show many similarities yet significant differences. People in both towns eat many high-fat foods, traditionally do less exercise, and drink alcohol.

The surprising difference is that while the people of Glasgow have one of the highest rates of CHD in the world, the lucky people of Toulouse have the lowest rates. Traditionally beer and spirits are popular beverages in Glasgow, while Toulouse people drink red wine.

 

(Of course, the climate in both geographical areas had nothing to do with the death toll… Ahem.)

Therefore, it has been suggested that moderate drinking and eating are helpful, while binge drinking at night bars is dangerous… duh! It seems that southern Europeans do not drink alcohol, but as an excellent complement to their diet.

Initially, major cardiac institutions such as the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association ignored fire extinguishers and focused on wine.

While it is clear that it would be dangerous for a doctor to recommend his patients to start drinking alcohol, it is also surprising that they have done so for so many years, ignoring the evidence.

Roll a few years now, even if they don't encourage you to take vitamin pills; antioxidants and free radicals are now widely regarded as factors in disease.

 

Although, according to the AHA, "there is no scientific evidence that drinking wine or other alcoholic beverages could replace traditional methods."

No direct comparisons were made to determine the effect of wine or other alcoholic beverages on the risk of heart attack or stroke.

The cost of clinical trials is so high that only the pharmaceutical industry has an investment fund - invest as the correct name.
