What makes it dark?
Ink on black ball and pens sound points are made by combining colors together. An easy way to find out what these colors are is to use paper chromatography. Special chromatography paper is standard filter paper works very well.
1 Insert three test tubes into the test container and label A, B and C.
2 To use the udder pipe to avoid wetting the inner walls of the test tubes, insert a 5 mm solvent depth into each test tube as follows:
Tube A [Water]
Tube B [Ethanol]
Tube C [Proper]
Cut three strands of chromatography paper or filter paper to fit into test tubes.
4 Make a dot (about 5 mm wide) 20 mm at the end of each piece, with the ink you are testing.
5 On the other hand, with a pencil, draw each line in the color of the pen and solvent, Bic a Bic B Bic C
6 With the aforementioned conclusion, lower each strand to its test tube and insert a lid on each one (N B The colored dot must be above the melting point.)
As the solvents lift the strings and pass through the ink dots, they may carry of colors. In some cases, different colors will be carried at different heights. If the dot of ink remains unchanged, it means that does not dissolve in the solvent.
7 When the solvent rises to a depth of 10 mm above each line, remove the strips and compare them.

If you find that different solvents have different colors of paper on paper with the same ink, you can use two solvents (water and ethanol), one after the other in different ways. This way, you will need a square of chromatography paper or filter paper that will fit directly inside the beaker.
1 Make a dot 5 mm wide near one corner, 20 mm from the bottom and 20 mm on the left side.
2 Apply 5 mm depth of the first solvent to the pan and lower the paper into it, with a dot near the lower left corner (as before, the colored dot should be above the melting point) Close the lid.
3 Once the solvent has risen to 10 mm above the paper, remove the paper and allow to dry. [Do not use flame]
4 Apply a depth of 5 mm of the second solvent to another beaker, cut the paper in half near the color line near the bottom and close the beaker
5 Remove the paper when the solvent rises to within 10 mm from the top and allow the paper to dry. [Do not use flame.]
6. Repeat the test using solvents in the opposite direction; that is, if you start with water and then with ethanol, start with ethanol and then with water. Compare the two sheets of paper.

1 Cut one piece of chromatography paper to leave a tag
2 20 mm from the bottom of the paper, draw a pencil line.
3 In this line, at intervals of 20 mm, make the ink dots you are comparing and numbering (with a pencil). Remember to write down the ink items and the identification numbers. Write the name of the solvent on the tag.
4 Make a paper cylinder to pass the tag only and adjust the tag with a piece of paper.
5 Insert 5 mm deep solvent into the pan (select size)
6 Lower the dotted bucket cylinder near the bottom and close the beaker.
7 Once the solvent has risen within 10 mm from the top, remove the paper and let it dry. (Do not use flame) Compare color tracks.
