Mahindra Scorpio N – Cabin Comforts and Technology
The upholstery and dashboard of the Mahindra Scorpio N will be finished in a dark tan with contrasting black. For a more luxurious appearance, Mahindra has used a lot of chrome on the AC vents, central console, and door handles, and the new Scorpio N comes with a sunroof this time around.
The XUV700's dual-zone climate control and dashboard design are startlingly similar to the Toyota Land Cruiser LC200's. The Scorpio N insignia is embroidered on brown and black perforated leatherette seats, and the dashboard is finished in the same color scheme.
Mahindra Scorpio N – The Big Daddy Of SUVs
The new Scorpio is dubbed "The Big Daddy Of SUVs" by Mahindra. The new Mahindra Scorpio N will be available in a 6- and 7-seater form, with the third row featuring front-facing seating. It will be 206 mm longer and 100 mm wider than the existing Scorpio and will be 125 mm shorter. This equates to a length of 4,662 mm, a width of 1,917 mm, and a height of 1,870 mm. The Scorpio's wheelbase will also be increased to 2,750 mm, up from 2,680 mm on the previous model. New spy images, courtesy of Her Garage, show the back of the Mahindra Scorpio 2022 for the first time.
Multiple airbags, a rear parking camera, hill assist control, and electronic stability control are likely to be included in the Mahindra Scorpio N's safety kit. It will also come equipped with Mahindra's latest 4WD system, which includes terrain modes and a limited range mode. Driver drowsiness warning, hill hold and hill descent aid, traction control, and a total of six airbags will all be available on the SUV.
The new Scorpio N will be available with a six-speed manual or a torque converter automatic transmission and will be powered by 2 liter, petrol or 2.2-liter diesel engine. It will be priced between Rs 14 and Rs 18 lakh and will go up against the Hyundai, Kia, MG Astor, and other models.
Rivals and Pricing
Because there are no other body-on-frame SUVs in the segment, the Scorpio N, like its predecessor, will face no direct competition once it is released. In terms of practicality, it will compete with the Hyundai, Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, and Tata Safari, among others. Pricing is estimated to begin at roughly Rs 12 lakhs, with the top-of-the-line trim costing around INR 20 lakhs (ex-showroom). If you're looking to book one ahead of time, some Mahindra shops have begun accepting unofficial booking confirmations.
Class-Leading Features and Safety
Scorpio N is going to be a product with a lot of features. Dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment device with Mahindra's tech-pack, Sony 3D surround sound system, steering-mounted controls, a 360-degree camera, and more are just a few of the expected creature comfort amenities. Captain chairs in the second row and front-facing seats in the last row will be available on higher-end versions. Bench seats for the second row will be standard on lower models. The third row seats will be divided 60:40, allowing for more boot room, according to the manufacturer's specifications.
