What Is Your Purpose in Life? (And How to Find It)

HELLO GUYS In this article I will show you what is mine am in life? It’s a question as old as time: “What is my purpose in life?” As far back as the fourth century BC, Aristotle ponders life’s purpose and develops his theory of teleology or the idea that everything in life has meaning.

Purpose in Life

In our culture, our society expects you to have a purpose in life. Many young people think they need to choose what they want to do in their lives by age sixteen. They’ll graduate from high school and think, “OK, now I know my life’s purpose. Now what?” But there are many paths to a life of purpose, and there is no right or wrong way. I believe everyone has an inner compass guiding them in their lives, a purpose for their life that they can fulfill. But it’s not necessarily apparent to anyone else. It’s also essential that we clarify what purpose is to us. Most of us wouldn’t agree on what we think our purpose in life is. What is Your Purpose in Life?

Aristotle’s goal in life was to lead a virtuous life and to achieve the greatest possible well-being. The greatest possible well-being was thought to be attained by dedicating one’s life to the pursuit of natural science (the study of the laws of nature) and learning how the world works (applying these laws to human life). However, Aristotle’s teacher, Plato, gave the question its modern meaning: the question is what does the purpose of your life mean? In other words, what is the meaning of life for you? The purpose of your life could be that you enjoy social interaction, having a family, or working at a job. Plato, Aristotle’s teacher, suggested that a person with a purpose in life may feel a particular joy and sadness at the same time.

Conclusion

Most of the things in life are not meant to make sense to us. That’s why we need to search for more meaning in our lives continuously. When we get stuck with big questions such as “What is my purpose in life?” we are probably thinking about something that sounds too grand or unachievable. Rather than avoiding the thought of our life’s purpose for fear that it will be too complicated or painful, we should look beyond ourselves and the world around us. Rather than only reacting and reacting, we should be proactive. Think about it: You are in a car. When you are driving to work, you have to focus on getting to your destination. To get to the destination, you need to focus on the road, the other drivers, and the surroundings. You are engaged in an activity. You are doing something.
