History   

X press bees story can be traced back to 2012 when it was used primarily as a delivery service for First Cry. With growing demand for logistics services in the country, the founders felt that X press bees could be launched as an independent logistics service provider. The aim was to allow X press bees to grow on its own and not limit it to operations related to First Cry.    

That’s exactly what happened, as X press bees has been registering strong growth over the years. As of now, X press bees handles more than 3 million shipments per day. It has 3000+ offices and service centers, 52+ cargo airports, 100+ hubs, more than 10 lakh sq. ft. warehouse capacity and 35,000+ field executives.    

Funding   

X press bees has received investments worth $577.6 million via 9 rounds of funding. Some of the key investors include Blackstone Group, Chrys Capital, TPG Growth, Gaja Capital, Invest corp, Nor west Venture Partners, Alibaba Group and Inno Ven Capital. In Series F funding in February 2022, X press bees had raised $300 million. With this, the valuation of the company zoomed to $1.2 billion, thereby achieving the coveted ‘Unicorn’ tag.

About the founders
