Good evening, all the dignitaries present, respected teachers, my dear friends, today I am present in front of all of you to give Women Empowerment Speech. Everyone has gathered. Women empowerment is an essential topic in which we will discuss for gender equality.
Today's era is such an era in which many rights have been given to women in the constitution. Today women contribute to make this developing India developed but still they are sometimes harassed in different forms and their rights are violated. Today every year women equally appear in any examination and also score more marks than men. But somewhere it is also true that due to the paternal power society, only men are given respect and even today there are many such provinces where disappointment is expressed on having daughters. Today many women like Kiran Bedi, Sushmita Sen, Padmavati Bandopadhyay, Sucheta Kriplani etc. are empowered. Like these, we also have to empower and take this Women Empowerment Speech to many people so that they too can understand the importance of women empowerment. Today, Leverage Edu is a platform where women constitute 60%. Such platforms provide support to women to become self-reliant.
Women Empowerment mainly refers to the practice of making women independent so that they can make their own decisions as well as handle their lives without any family or social restrictions. In simple words, it empowers women to take responsibility for their own personal development. Since women have always been oppressed in a patriarchal society, the main aim of women empowerment is to help them stand on an equal footing with men. It is a fundamental step to ensure the prosperity of the country as well as a family. To empower women, the world will surely witness gender equality and help women from all strata of society to stand up for their own sake and lead their lives as per their wish.
Women empowerment involves more than just ensuring that women get their basic rights. In its own right, women empowerment includes aspects of freedom, equality as well as freedom of expression. Through this, the real effort lies in ensuring that we bring about gender equality.
Given the right support, women have excelled in every field. In India too, we have seen women in diverse roles, being Prime Minister, Astronaut, Entrepreneur, Banker and more. Apart from this, women are also considered as the backbone of the family. From household chores to nurturing children, she handles many responsibilities. This is why they are great at multitasking and often many working women skilfully juggle between professional and personal responsibilities. While there are working women in urban cities, rural areas have barred them from household chores. How can we aspire to prosper as a nation where every girl does not get education or the facility to make her own choice? India is a country where we worship gods and goddesses while we are not bothered to think about gender equality.
Globally renowned for its culture and heritage, India is a country filled with diverse cultures. But Indian society has always been male dominated, which is why women have been continuously denied basic human rights like education and equality. They were always confined to oppression and domesticity and prevented from receiving basic education. The notion of gender equality demands equality between men and women but women have been denied their rights. For a country like India, women empowerment will play a big role in its growth and development.
In both biological and moral contexts, women have greater potential for the future and development of a family, as well as the development of society as a whole. Thus, every woman should be given equal opportunities to develop fully as an individual and help her make her choices.
