Violence means use of physical force on the part of an individual or a group of individuals to achieve salvation from any threat perception to their interest and rights with utter neglect of rules and regulations and obligations of law. It stems from the unmanaged anger, hatred, bias, selfishness, narrow-mindedness, disappointment and denial of rights to other individual or group of individuals on the basis of their religion, creed, colour, tongue and territory. Its perpetrators may be individuals, group of individuals in the form of certain fanatic organisations and at many places state itself. Many times it is planned ,and sometimes it erupts suddenly due to an event, statement and publication. Its manifestations take the forms of abusive language, beating, killing, damage to property, protests, processions leading to blocking the roads, strikes and in the extreme form, terrorist activities. Its victims are minorities, children, women, common man and poor segments of society. Economic disparity and uneven distribution of wealth and resources fuel the fire. Use of force on the part of governments without addressing the root causes of unrest and non-existence of dispensation of speedy justice in societies of developing countries is a critical bottleneck in the way of amelioration of the situation. The problem has strong regional and international dimensions. The existence of territorial disputes and rivalry between different countries and selective approach of UNO and super-powers towards the peaceful resolution of these disputes is leading the world towards unsafe future. The Muslim youth worldwide noticing the atrocities inflicting upon Muslims in Palestine, Kashmir, Burma, Afghanistan and India in spite of UN-security council resolutions, foster anger and sentiments of condemnation. Some of them fall victim to the terrorist organisations and terror and voilence spreads. The recent world is not being run on the principles of truth and justice rather than so-called national interests are held in high esteem with the result that developing countries are facing negative progress in their economies. The post COVID-19 scenario coupled with recent wave of inflation and unemployment is marked with increment in frustration of the masses. It is conducive to promote the aggressive attitude among people the worldwide. The aggressive behaviour along with apprehension about the security of jobs is likely to enhance the further aggravation in the temperament of the people. It is the need of the hour to take concrete steps by the governments the world over. The moral values and the principle of merit and the service to humanity should be upheld rather than the narrow national interests of the countries. The UNO donor agencies and all the Countries with strong economies should come out and help the developing countries by pending their debt payments and giving these governments fiscal space to make spending on improving socio-economic condition of the people. The Countries termed as superpowers should shift their focus from over military expenditures towards the assistance to the under-developed countries. The international disputes must be honestly resolved, being mindful of the aspires of the people. A general perception of fanatic attitude towards Muslim population and Islamic countries on the part of America, Iserael and India and an endeavour to associate Islam with terrorism must be discouraged by implementing the UNO charter and it's security council resolutions in letter and spirit. For the peaceful coexistence of all the religions and cultures, a religious and cultural harmony is essential. The main focus and preaching of all the religions is humanity. The main common points and common aims of all the religions must be propagated and respectful attitude towards each and every religion may go a long way to promote understanding among the followers of different religious schools of thought. Such an indoctrination of new generation will definitely minimise the hardliners in every society and facilitate the integration of nation to nation. Closer the people of different continents, more the understanding and lesser the hatred and violence.
