UMANG App

UMANG is a mobile app designed to run e-governance in India under Digital India. The UMANG app has developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD).

The full form of UMANG is a Unified Mobile App for New-Age Governance. It was first launched in November 2017. The app is currently available in more than a dozen languages ​​for Android, iOS, and Windows devices.

UMANG App ensures Indian citizens access to citizen-centric services and the Central Government, State Government, and local bodies. And for this, the need for citizens to visit different portals has also ended. All these services can be accessed through the UMANG app. 

How to create umang Account

First of all, download Umang App on Play Store.

If you are starting this app for the first time, then go ahead by selecting your language and tap on the three horizontal lines on the left side.

After that, tap on “Register.”

Enter your mobile number and proceed.

Now an OTP will come to verify your mobile number. Enter the OTP in the available space and click to proceed button.

Congratulation! You have been successfully registered on UMANG App. Now you can take advantage of the services by completing your incomplete profile.

One Platform – UMANG App is a platform for e-governance. To the citizen-centric services from central government to local bodies can be accessed.

Service on the phone - Its special thing is that you do not need a laptop or computer. You can also take advantage of e-governance services through UMANG service, even through ordinary cell phones.
